A coolant pump for a vehicle may include an impeller mounted at one side of a shaft and pumping a coolant, a pulley mounted at the other side of the shaft and receiving a torque, a pump housing of which an outlet for the coolant to flow out therethrough is formed thereto, an inflow portion including a first inlet and a second inlet configured for receiving coolant, a slider of which a first closing portion selectively closing or opening the outlet and a second closing portion selectively closing or opening the second inlet are formed thereto, and the slider disposed slidable along longitudinal direction of the shaft and a driver moving the slider.

Coolant pump for vehicle, cooling system provided with the same and control method for the same

The present disclosure relates to a separate cooling system of a vehicle, including an engine including a cylinder head and a cylinder block transmitting a coolant to the cylinder head, a coolant pump, a plurality of parts disposed on a plurality of coolant lines, an electronic thermostat mounted on the cylinder block so as to selectively transmit the coolant from the cylinder block to the plurality of coolant lines, a cooling coolant temperature sensor measuring a coolant temperature of the cylinder block, a controller controlling an operation of the electronic thermostat depending on a vehicle operation state output signal including the cooling coolant temperature sensor, and a mechanical thermostat disposed at an upstream of the coolant pump so as to selectively block the coolant via a radiator and a reservoir tank among the coolant transmitted from the plurality of coolant line to the coolant pump.

Separate cooling system for vehicle

An engine cooling system is provided. The system includes a cylinder block formed that has a block coolant chamber formed therein and a front insert that is inserted downward of an upper portion of a front side and receives coolant in the block coolant chamber to adjust a flow of the coolant. Additionally, a rear insert is inserted downward of an upper portion of a rear side and exhausts the coolant in the block coolant chamber to adjust the flow of the coolant.

Engine cooling system

An engine system with a coolant control valve includes: a valve housing having a first valve space and a second valve space formed at both sides by a partition and including a connection passage formed in the partition; a first rotary valve disposed in the first valve space and having first coolant passages; a second rotary valve disposed in the second valve space and having second coolant passages; distribution lines respectively connected to positions corresponding to the first coolant passages and the second coolant passages and distributing the coolant coming through the first rotary valve and the second rotary valve; and a driver to rotate the first rotary valve and the second rotary valve. In particular, the first and second coolant passages are connected to the connection passage depending on the rotation positions of the first rotary valve and the second rotary valve.
