An airbag system for a vehicle includes: a plurality of airbag modules disposed at a roof of a vehicle, allowing a cushion to be deployed toward an indoor space of the vehicle when deployed, and arranged to correspond to respective seats of the vehicle; at least one actuator configured to move an airbag module of the plurality of airbag modules in a longitudinal or lateral direction of the vehicle and to rotate the airbag module in place; and a controller controlling the at least one actuator to move the airbag module corresponding to a matched seat of the vehicle when a position of a seat or a reclined angle of a seatback is changed, and to rotate the airbag module when an orientation angle of the seat is changed, and to control the cushion of the airbag module to be deployed when a vehicle collision occurs.

A curtain airbag for a vehicle may include a curtain airbag cushion divided into an upper cushion and a lower cushion, a folding portion at the upper cushion, and a door panel tether having a first end fixed to the folding portion and a second end fixed to a car body, in which when the curtain airbag inflates, a door side of the upper cushion may be pressed by the tension of the door panel tether and the upper cushion turns inward.

An air bag apparatus for a vehicle includes an inflator and a main tube configured to be unfolded toward an occupant of the vehicle by a gas pressure when the inflator explodes. The system may include a plurality of weight sensors installed under a seat frame to support a load of a vehicle seat, a single dummy sensor installed under the seat frame to support the load of the vehicle seat along with the plurality of weight sensors, and a passenger classification logic unit for classifying a passenger value obtained by summing sensor values of the plurality of weight sensors as either class 1 or class 2 by comparing the passenger value with a first reference and a second reference.
