A display device includes light transmitting areas including a first light transmitting area and light emitting areas around the light transmitting areas and including a first light emitting area disposed around the first light transmitting area, wherein the first light emitting area includes a first-first light emitting area adjacent to a first portion of each of the light transmitting areas, a first-second light emitting area adjacent to a second portion of each of the light transmitting areas, a first-third light emitting area adjacent to a third portion of each of the light transmitting areas, and a first-fourth light emitting area disposed adjacent to a fourth portion of each of the light transmitting areas. The first-first to first-fourth light emitting areas each include at least one of first to third light emitting portions to emit light of first to third colors, respectively.

An input unit is disposed adjacent to the display panel. A first motor gear is configured to provide power for a slide operation of the second active area of the display panel. The display panel includes a first slide for sliding the second active area of the display panel in the first direction. A display device inspection method includes: checking connection failures of light emitting elements included in a pixel and connected in series based on a first control signal, a second control signal, and a voltage of an initialization power source, wherein the pixel comprises: a pixel circuit controlling a current flowing from a first power source to a second node in response to a voltage of a first node; a first light emitting element connected to the second node; a first transistor controlling the voltage of the initialization power source supplied to the second node; a second light emitting element electrically connected between the first light emitting element and a second power source; and a second transistor having a first electrode connected to a third node between the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element, and a gate electrode connected to a first inspection control line.

The second display region includes a plurality of unit pixel blocks, each including two second pixels adjacent to each other in a first direction and two second pixels adjacent to each other in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and a transmissive region through which light is transmitted. A distance between two unit pixel blocks adjacent to each other in the first direction is greater than a distance between two unit pixel blocks adjacent to each other in an oblique direction inclined to the first direction.

A display device includes: a substrate having a first display area and a second display area. A first pixel circuit portion is disposed on the substrate. A first emitting diode includes a first pixel electrode connected to the first pixel circuit portion. A second pixel circuit portion is disposed on a second display area of the substrate. An extension wire is connected to the second pixel circuit portion. A display device may include a sensor layer, a substrate, a pixel layer, and a black matrix. The sensor layer may include photo sensors. The substrate may be positioned on the sensor layer. The pixel layer may be positioned on the substrate and may include pixels. The substrate may be positioned between the sensor layer and the pixel layer. The pixels may include pixel electrodes. The black matrix may be positioned on the pixel layer, may include first-set openings respectively overlapping with the pixel electrodes, and may include second-set openings not overlapping with any pixel electrodes of the display device in a direction perpendicular to the substrate. The pixel layer may be positioned between the substrate and the black matrix.

A display device includes a display area which includes a first display area including a plurality of first pixels and a second display area including at least one second pixel and at least one light-transmitting portion, a peripheral area disposed around the display area, a data line including a first portion and a second portion spaced apart from each other in a predetermined direction with the light-transmitting portion therebetween, and a conductive pattern disposed at a different conductive layer from the data line. The conductive pattern includes a first pattern portion including a bypass portion that bypasses a periphery of the second display area in a plan view and disposed in the first display area, and the first pattern portion includes a first end electrically connected to the first portion of the data line and a second end electrically connected to the second portion of the data line.
