A device for verifying a circuit design including a first circuit block and a second circuit block includes a verification vector generator and a design verifier. The verification vector generator determines a first verification vector by performing reinforcement learning through neural network computation based on a coverage corresponding to a first test vector, the coverage being determined based on a state transition of the first circuit block generated by inputting the first test vector to the first circuit block. The design verifier performs design verification for the first circuit block by using the first verification vector.

A method and apparatus for increasing a dynamic range of an image by using a first electronic shutter and a second electronic shutter of a camera is provided. A plasma display panel according to a first embodiment of the invention includes first and second substrates opposing each other; barrier ribs that are located in a space between the first substrate and the second substrate for dividing a plurality of discharge cells in sealed spaces; display electrodes located along the discharge cells; and address electrodes formed in a direction intersecting the display electrodes. The barrier ribs include first barrier ribs having a first height and second barrier ribs having a second height so that the difference in height between the two ribs is provided.

A plasma display panel including address electrodes extending in a first direction, and scanning and sustain electrodes extending in a second direction, the electrodes corresponding to discharge cells. Each of the scanning and sustain electrodes includes a transparent electrode that extends toward the other of the scanning and sustain electrode, and over the discharge cell; a main bus electrode positioned adjacent to and parallel with a barrier rib member; and a sub-bus electrode disposed between the main bus electrode and the other of the scanning and sustain electrode. Some embodiments also include an intermediate electrode disposed between the scanning and sustain electrodes. Embodiments of the disclosed plasma display panel exhibit a reduced voltage drop over the transparent electrodes of the sustain electrodes and scanning electrodes, thereby permitting the generation of a sustain discharge at a lower voltage, and a reduced time for generating an address discharge light.

Plasma display panel electrode system

A plasma display panel (PDP) with improved bright room contrast while achieving a high opening ratio and high luminance. The PDP includes display electrodes that includes auxiliary electrodes that suppress reflection of incident light off the discharge cells. With address electrodes formed on the rear substrate and the display electrodes formed on the front substrate, auxiliary electrodes connect pairs of display electrodes together. The auxiliary electrodes and the main bus electrodes extend into the discharge cells and reflect the external light. The opaque main bus and auxiliary electrodes are combined with a transparent electrode portion that overlies the main bus and the auxiliary portions to form the display electrodes.

A digital modulation apparatus and method used for a DVD-RAM and a DVD-R/RW and for increasing the margin of an operation of an external device is provided. The digital modulation apparatus includes a 4-stage pipeline and includes a mode selection unit, a field enabling signal generation unit, a data fetch and sync code generating unit, an eight-to-fourteen modulation plus (EFMplus) conversion unit, and a non-return-to-zero inverted (NRZI) conversion unit. The mode selection unit generates a mode selection signal for selecting one from a DVD-RAM operation mode and a DVD-R/RW operation mode in response to a control signal. The field enabling signal generation unit selectively generates recording field enabling signals related to a DVD-RAM, or selectively generates recording field enabling signals related to a DVD-R/RW, in response to a start signal and the mode selection signal and provides the recording field enabling signals to the data fetch and sync code generation unit. The data fetch and sync code generation unit fetches 8-bit data words, generates sync codes, and performs an operation for fetching the data words and an operation for generating first sync codes in parallel. The EFMplus conversion unit converts the 8-bit data words output from the data fetch and sync code generation unit into M-bit (where M is an integer) first code words and then, converts the converted first code words into 16-bit second code words. The NRZI conversion unit converts the second code words into a NRZI signal.
