A display device variable between a first mode and a second mode includes a display module including a first portion, a second portion disposed under the first portion, and a third portion disposed between the first portion and the second portion, where the third portion is bent in the first mode, a support part including a support plate disposed under the first portion and a plurality of support bars under the second portion and the third portion, a plate part disposed under the support part and including a magnet part movable in a first direction to be away from or to approach the first portion, and a driving part disposed under the plate part. When being switched from the first mode to the second mode, the third portion is disposed parallel to the first portion, and the magnet part moves in the first direction to overlap the third portion.

A display device includes a display module including: a folding area, and first and second non-folding areas; a first support member bendable together with the display module and including: a bending area corresponding to the folding area, and first and second non-bending areas corresponding to the first and second non-folding areas; and a support layer facing the display module with the first support member therebetween, and including: a second support member in the bending area and the first and second non-bending areas; a first support plate facing the first support member with the second support member therebetween and in the bending area and the first non-bending area; and a second support plate facing the first support member with the second support member therebetween and in the bending area and the second non-bending area. A display device includes a display module, a supporting plate disposed under the display module, supporting bars disposed under the display module and arranged in a first direction with the supporting plate, a supporting film disposed between the display module and the supporting plate and between the display module and the supporting bars, a first case accommodating the display module, the supporting plate, the supporting film, and the supporting bars, and a second case coupled to the first case to move in a direction to be close to or to be far away from the first case along the first direction. Opposite sides of the supporting bars are respectively inserted into first guide grooves defined in inner side surfaces of the first case, which face each other in a second direction crossing the first direction, and the supporting bars move along the first guide groove.

Display device and method of manufacturing supporting part

A display device may include a first non-folding region, a second non-folding region, and a folding region. The display device may include a display member including a display module, a supporting member supporting the display member, an adhesion member disposed between the display member and the supporting member, and a compensation member attached to one of top and bottom surfaces of the adhesion member and overlapped with the folding region. Thus, it may be possible to provide a display device configured to reduce a stress, which is exerted on a folding region when it is in a folded state, and to prevent the folding region from being deformed to a bent shape when it is in an unfolded state.

An electronic device includes a first plate, a second plate continuously moving between a first state and a second state with respect to the first plate, a camera module disposed between the first plate and the second plate and including a lens, a flexible display including a planar portion and a bendable portion, and a multi-joint module overlapping the bendable portion of the flexible display and including a plurality of segment members. A position of the camera module and a direction of the lens may be changed in response to a state transition of the electronic device. The plurality of segment members may include at least one opening segment member, and an opening is formed in the opening segment member. The opening segment member may be moved in response to a change in the position of the camera module and a change of the direction of the lens.

Electronic device including flexible display

The display device includes a display module which displays an image at a front surface of the display module and includes a rear surface, a folding area and a non-folding area extended from the folding area; and a supporter facing the rear surface of the display module and including a first portion corresponding to the non-folding area, a second portion corresponding to the folding area, and a boundary between the first portion and the second portion. The display module which is unfolded disposes the supporter bent at the boundary, and the supporter which is bent includes the first portion and the second portion together forming a curvature of the supporter having a center of curvature at the front surface of the display module.

A display apparatus includes a display panel configured to display an image. A first mold is disposed under the display panel and includes a plurality of sidewall portions. A second mold is disposed adjacent to one of the sidewall portions and is coupled to the first mold. At least one flexible circuit board is connected to the display panel and is disposed between the first and second molds. The second mold includes a bottom mold covering one edge area of a bottom surface of the first mold. A cover mold covers the one sidewall portion of the first mold. A first distance between an inner side surface of the cover mold and an outer side surface of the one sidewall portion of the first mold is substantially constant.

Display apparatus having a durable flexible circuit board arrangement

A display apparatus includes a display panel and a first protection member which accommodates the display panel. The first protection member includes first sidewalls facing each other and second sidewalls connected to ends of the first sidewalls to face each other. The first and second sidewalls are disposed to surround a side surface of the display panel, the first sidewalls are curved symmetrical to each other, and a distance between central portions of the first sidewalls facing each other is a minimum distance between the first sidewalls, and a distance between ends of the first sidewalls facing each other is a maximum distance between the first sidewalls.
