A vehicle light apparatus includes: a power consuming portion provided in parallel with a group of light emitting elements for causing a total power value including power consumed by the lamp to become a normal power value, a breakage detecting portion for detecting a breakage with respect to the group of light emitting elements, and a control portion for controlling power supply to the group of light emitting elements, wherein in the event that a breakage of the group of light emitting elements is detected by the breakage detecting portion, a power supply to the lamp including the group of broken light emitting elements is stopped or power supplied to the lamp is reduced by the control portion. By providing the power consuming portion, the load characteristic can be made constant, and power consumption can be reduced when a breakage of the light emitting element is detected.

A motor vehicle interior lamp is disclosed which has a lamp body of plastics material on which an electric lighting bulb is mounted by being supported between a pair of bulb terminals. One of the bulb terminals is connected to a power supply. For selectively grounding the other bulb terminal via a hand operated switch, a grounding conductor is embedded in the lamp body by insert molding. The grounding conductor is fabricated from sheet metal in one piece with a set of grounding terminals to be grounded by fastener elements. The grounding conductor is connected to each grounding terminal via an offset link which is capable of deformation in response to possible deformation or displacement of the grounding conductor during the insert molding of the lamp body and which is thus effective to hold the grounding terminals with their mounting holes in register with the mounting holes in the lamp body.

Disclosed are a method of manufacturing a synthetic resin part integrally formed with metal members, including the steps of: integrally forming a plurality of metal member sets through coupling portions, each of the metal member sets including a plurality of coupled together metal members; inserting the metal member sets into the molding dies of a forming machine; injecting synthetic resin for molding into the molding die, and forming a synthetic resin part integrally formed with metal members in sequence to form a synthetic resin part continuum where a plurality of synthetic resin parts are connected; and cutting off the coupling portions to manufacture the plurality of synthetic resin parts, and a synthetic resin part manufactured according to the above-mentioned manufacturing method. With this manufacturing method, the assembling accuracy of the synthetic resin part to metal members is enhanced, there is no danger of unnecessary contact between metal members, and the time for assembling metal members is saved to contribute to cost reduction.
