A motor includes a stator unit and a rotor rotatable relative to the stator unit. The stator unit includes a stator, a resin portion, a support portion, and an annular recess. The stator includes a stator core, an insulator, and a conducting wire wound around the stator core with the insulator interposed therebetween. The resin portion covers at least part of the stator. The support portion supports the stator. At an end portion of the stator unit on one side in an axial direction, the recess is recessed toward another side in the axial direction. The resin portion is positioned further in a radially outer direction than the recess. The rotor includes an annular projection extending toward the other side in the axial direction. At least part of the projection is accommodated in the recess.

Motor and fan motor

A motor includes a stator that includes an annular core back, teeth extending radially outside from the core back and being arranged in a circumferential direction, an insulator covering at least a portion of the teeth, and a coil defined by a conductive wire wound around each of the teeth via the insulator. A radially inside surface of the core back includes core back protrusions extending radially inside and provided with a space therebetween in the circumferential direction. The insulator includes an annular upper lid portion extending radially inside farther than a radially inside surface of the core back at an axially upper side of the core back and a side wall portion extending to an axially lower side from a lower surface of the upper lid portion. At least a portion of the side wall portion is disposed within the space between the adjacent core back protrusions.

Motor

In a fan motor, a stator unit of a motor that rotates an impeller includes a cylindrical bearing holder that extends in an axial direction, a cover that covers an end of the bearing holder on one side in the axial direction, and a seal provided between the bearing holder and the cover. The cover has a disc portion that is provided on the end on the one side in the axial direction and extends in the radial direction, and a cylindrical portion that extends from the disc portion to the other side in the axial direction, and is located inside of the end. The seal has a first seal portion located between an inner side face of the end and an outer side face of the cylindrical portion in the radial direction.

Stator unit, motor, and fan motor

A wheel unit includes a motor, a pinion gear fixed to a rotating portion of the motor, a wheel including an annular ground surface and rotating around a final gear support shaft, and a final gear disposed on one side in an axial direction with respect to the wheel. The wheel unit further includes a speed reduction mechanism which decelerates rotation of the pinion gear and transmits the rotation to the final gear and a gear case which accommodates the pinion gear. When viewed from the axial direction, the final gear support shaft and the motor shaft are disposed in different positions. The motor includes a stationary portion and a rotary portion, and the stationary portion is fixed to the gear case by an attachment plate.

Wheel unit

A wheel unit includes a motor, a pinion gear fixed to a rotating portion of the motor, a wheel including an annular ground surface and rotating around a final gear support shaft, and a final gear disposed on one side in an axial direction with respect to the wheel. The wheel unit further includes a speed reduction mechanism which decelerates rotation of the pinion gear and transmits the rotation to the final gear and a gear case which accommodates the pinion gear. When viewed from the axial direction, the final gear support shaft and the motor shaft are disposed in different positions. The gear case includes a circular hole portion including a cylindrical inner peripheral surface which supports the rotation support portion. The inner peripheral surface of the circular hole portion comes into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the rotation support portion with lubricant interposed therebetween.

A wheel unit includes a motor, a pinion gear fixed to a rotating portion of the motor, a wheel including an annular ground surface and rotating around a final gear support shaft, and a final gear disposed on one side in an axial direction with respect to the wheel. The wheel unit further includes a speed reduction mechanism which decelerates rotation of the pinion gear and transmits the rotation to the final gear and a gear case which accommodates the pinion gear. When viewed from the axial direction, the final gear support shaft and the motor shaft are disposed in different positions. An initial stage composite gear of the speed reduction mechanism meshes with the pinion gear. The initial stage composite gear is supported by the final gear support shaft such that the initial stage composite gear and the final gear are rotatable relative to the gear case.

The present disclosure relates to a wheel unit, which comprise: a motor; a pinion gear which is fixed to a rotating portion of the motor; a wheel which includes an annular ground surface and rotates about a final gear support shaft; a final gear made of a resin, which is fixed to the wheel directly or via another member and is disposed on one side in an axial direction with respect to the wheel; a speed reduction mechanism which decelerates rotation of the pinion gear and transmits the rotation to the final gear; and a gear case which accommodates the pinion gear, the speed reduction mechanism, and the final gear; wherein a rotation support portion which rotates along with the final gear and the wheel while being supported by the gear case directly or via another member is provided between the final gear and the wheel; and when viewed from one side in the axial direction, the final gear support shaft and a motor shaft are disposed in different positions, and the motor includes a rotor magnet on an outside of an armature in a radial direction.

The present disclosure relates to a wheel unit which comprises: a motor; a pinion gear which is fixed to a rotating portion of the motor; a wheel which includes an annular ground surface and rotates about a final gear support shaft; a final gear made of a resin, which is fixed to the wheel directly or via another member and is disposed on one side in an axial direction with respect to the wheel; a speed reduction mechanism which decelerates rotation of the pinion gear and transmits the rotation to the final gear; and a gear case which accommodates the pinion gear, the speed reduction mechanism, and the final gear, wherein a rotation support portion which rotates along with the final gear and the wheel while being supported by the gear case directly or via another member is provided between the final gear and the wheel; and at least a portion of the final gear is positioned on an inside of a cylindrical or substantially cylindrical area surrounded by the ground surface; when viewed from one side in the axial direction, the final gear support shaft and a motor shaft are disposed in different positions; and the speed reduction mechanism has at least three composite gears each of which has a large diameter gear portion and a small diameter gear portion, and a first support shaft which supports a first composite gear, a second support shaft which supports a second composite gear engaging with the first composite gear, and a third support shaft which supports a third composite gear engaging with the second composite gear are arranged such that, when the first support shaft and the second support shaft define an angle &#x3b8;relative to the final gear support shaft, and the second support shaft and the third support shaft define an angle &#x3b8;relative to the final gear support shaft, each of the angles &#x3b8;and &#x3b8;is 90&#xb0; or smaller.

A rotation support portion rotating along with the final gear and the wheel while being supported by the gear case is provided between the final gear and the wheel. An outside diameter of the rotation support portion is greater than an outside diameter of the final gear support shaft.
