An external connection connector includes: an insulating resin molded body in which are formed integrally: a second flange portion that is fixed to a first axial end surface of a first bulging portion of a unit housing; an extended portion that extends from the second flange portion alongside an outer circumferential surface of the actuator housing toward the first axial end; a first flange portion that extends radially inward from a first axial end of the extended portion; and a connector portion that is formed on the first flange portion; and a plurality of electrical conductors that are insert-molded into the insulating resin molded body such that first ends thereof protrude inside the connector portion and second ends thereof protrude into a connection window that is formed on a second bulging portion of a heatsink, the electrical conductors being connected to control portion connecting terminals inside the connection window.

The invention relates to a waterproof electronic control device such that a connector unit is inserted into at least one wall face of a case, a control substrate is incorporated in a housing chamber formed of the case and connector unit, an aperture portion and an upper face of the connector unit are covered with a cover, and a waterproofing member is disposed on a contact surface of each of the case, connector unit, and cover. A structure is such that a first inclined portion is provided in a side wall of one portion of the case, a regulating wall is provided in a direction opposing an inclined face of the first inclined portion, a second inclined portion of the connector unit is provided in a position opposing the first inclined portion and comes into contact with an inner face of the regulating wall when inserted into the case, and the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion come into contact at a final insertion stage of the second inclined portion.

Waterproof electronic control device

Provided is an electric driving device including an electric motor (), and a control device () arranged on an axis line of a rotation shaft () of the electric motor, for controlling the electric motor. The electric motor includes a motor terminal () extending toward the control device in parallel to a direction of the axis line of the rotation shaft, and a slit () is formed at an end portion of the motor terminal on the control device side. The control device includes a motor connection terminal () formed on an extension line of the motor terminal and connected to the motor terminal. The slit of the motor terminal is press-fitted and fixed to the motor connection terminal, and an insulating member () for holding the motor connection terminal is fixed to the heat sink ().

Electric driving device and method for manufacturing electric driving device

A control device () includes: a housing (); a control section including control-section connection terminals () and an electronic component (); a heat sink (); an external-connection connector () which includes connector connection terminals () to be electrically connected to the control-section connection terminals (); and a cover (). The connector connection terminals () and the control-section connection terminals () pass through a housing hole portion () covered with the cover () to be electrically connected to each other at respective distal end portions. Accordingly, in the control device having a different mounting direction of the external-connection connector or including a different type of the external-connection connector, the same housing, heat sink, and control section can be used so that manufacturing cost of the control device can be significantly reduced.

Control device and rotating electric machine integral with control device

Provided are a manufacturing method for a glass molded body and a manufacturing apparatus for a glass molded body, which employs the manufacturing method. The manufacturing method includes the steps of: heating molds each containing a glass material; press-molding the glass material; and cooling the press-molded glass material. The heating step includes: heating the molds with heating members arranged on both sides of a conveying direction of a support for conveying the molds in one direction; and conveying the two molds through rotation of the support or the like so as to reverse, at least once, an arrangement order of the two molds, which are arranged on a supporting surface of the support conveying the molds between the heating members, with respect to the conveying direction of the support.

Manufacturing method for glass molded body and manufacturing apparatus for glass molded body

A control device is made more compact and an electric power steering apparatus achieving excellent ease of assembly and ease of mounting is provided by disposing the control device between a shaft of an electric motor and a gear shaft of a speed reduction structure. A control device () is disposed coaxially with an output shaft () of an electric motor () between the electric motor and a speed reducer, and has a heat sink (), a power circuit board (), a control circuit board (), and a housing () in which to house the power circuit board and the control circuit board. An electronic relay circuit board () that passes and interrupts a motor current is housed in the housing between the power circuit board and the electric motor, so that heat generated in the electronic relay circuit board is released to the housing.

Electric power steering apparatus

The apparatus includes a housing, a heat sink arranged in the housing, semiconductor switching elements mounted on the heat sink and having terminals, a circuit board arranged in opposition to the heat sink and having an electronic circuit formed thereon including a control circuit for controlling the semiconductor switching elements, and a plurality of conductive plates electrically connecting the circuit board and the semiconductor switching elements to each other. The individual conductive plates are arranged along a lead-out direction in which the individual terminals of the semiconductor switching elements lead out, so that they are bonded to the individual terminals.

Electronic control apparatus

Provided is an electric power steering apparatus which allows a reduction in apparatus size as well as in noise. A controller () includes: a metal board (), on which a bridge circuit including a plurality of semiconductor switching elements (Qto Q) for switching a current of an electric motor () is mounted; capacitors () for absorbing a ripple of the current; a control board (), on which a microcomputer () for generating a drive signal for controlling the bridge circuit is mounted; and a connection member formed by insert molding high-current conductive plates (and), through which a high current flows, and signal conductive plates (), to/from which a low-current signal is input/output, with a frame () made of an insulating resin provided in proximity to an outer periphery of the metal board (), in which the capacitors () are arranged in a row along an end surface of one side of the metal board () and are electrically connected to the high-current conductive plates ().

A drive control unit alone can be replaced without detaching an electric power steering apparatus from a gear housing. A motor housing of an electric motor, which outputs assist torque to a steering wheel of a vehicle, and a drive housing of the drive control unit, which controls the driving of the electric motor, are coupled to each other at a mating surface in a surface to surface contact manner, and the drive housing and the gear housing are coupled with each other on the same axis. A location of connection, at which a power supply input terminal block of the electric motor and power supply bus bars of the drive control unit are connected to each other by us of screws, is arranged at a joint location at which the motor housing and the drive housing are joined to each other by screws.

An electronic control apparatus can be reduced in size and cost by eliminating certain parts such as a power board, etc. The apparatus includes a housing, a heat sink attached to one end of the housing, semiconductor switching elements mounted on the heat sink, a circuit board arranged in opposition to the heat sink, and a plurality of conductive plates electrically connecting the circuit board and the semiconductor switching elements. The heat sink is composed of a heat sink main body, and an anodized aluminum film formed at least on a surface of the heat sink main body at a side at which the power device is mounted thereon, and the heat sink main body has outer peripheral end faces arranged in opposition to inner wall surfaces of an opening portion of the housing.

An electronic control apparatus can be reduced in size and cost by eliminating certain component parts such as a power board, etc. The apparatus includes a housing, a heat sink, semiconductor switching elements having terminals and mounted on the heat sink, a circuit board arranged in opposition to the heat sink, conductive plates connecting between the circuit board and the semiconductor switching elements, and a cover receiving the semiconductor switching elements and the circuit board in cooperation with the heat sink. The conductive plates have the press-fit terminal portions press-fitted into the through holes in the circuit board, and the individual conductive plates are arranged along a lead-out direction in which the individual terminals of the semiconductor switching elements lead out, and are bonded to the individual terminals.

An electronic control apparatus can be reduced in size and cost by removing a metal substrate part. The apparatus includes a housing having a pair of opening portions at its opposite sides, a heat sink attached to one of the opening portions of the housing, a pair of semiconductor switching elements mounted on the heat sink, a circuit board arranged in opposition to the heat sink, a plurality of conductive plates electrically connecting the circuit board and the semiconductor switching elements to each other, and a plate spring urging the semiconductor switching elements against the heat sink. The plate spring has engagement portions press-fitted to and engaged with inner sides of holding portions which are formed on the housing, and the housing has engagement portions engaged with protruded portions of the heat sink.

An electric power steering apparatus requires no external connecting member connecting between a power main body and a control main body, and hence can be reduced in size and cost, and the reliability of electrical connection between the power main body and the control main body can be improved. High current parts constituting the power main body and low current parts constituting the control main body are mounted on opposite sides of a circuit board, and are electrically connected with one another via conductor layers of the circuit board and through holes formed therein.

A control unit including a plurality of boards is formed of a single multilayer metal substrate, whereby an electric power steering apparatus can be obtained in which connection members for connecting between the boards are made unnecessary, so the size and cost of the apparatus can be reduced, and the reliability of bonding can be improved.
