A housing for a member disposed at a vehicle exterior is formed by assembling a plurality of parts substantially in a vehicle longitudinal direction. At a matching portion when the plurality of parts are assembled together substantially in the vehicle longitudinal direction, a housing outer side end portion of a matching surface substantially at a vehicle frontward side is displaced further outward than a housing outer side end portion of a matching surface substantially at a vehicle rearward side. Or, the housing outer side end portion of the matching surface substantially at the vehicle rearward side may have a curved surface or a flat surface.

In a door mirror in accordance with the present invention, at a connecting portion near a driver's seat or a passenger seat, an opposing portion which is a boundary between the connecting portion and a lid is exposed on the surface of a visor at a side toward the substantial rear of a vehicle. Therefore, even if steps are formed at the opposing portion and slight irregularities are thereby formed on the surface of the visor, air flow does not flow over the opposing portion, or orientation of air flow is not rapidly changed or turbulence is not generated over or below the opposing portion. In this way, noise such as wind noise generated near the connecting portion can be reduced or eliminated.

Mirror assembly for a vehicle

A vehicle mirror device is provided in which work for wiring a cord, which is used to supply electric power to an internal mechanism within a mirror visor, and workability can be improved. At a mirror stay of the vehicle mirror device, a through hole is formed in a supporting portion and an insertion hole is formed in a mounting portion. The insertion hole is open at an end portion of the mounting portion. A cover which closes the opening portion of the insertion hole is provided. With the stay cover removed, the cord which is used to supply electric power to the internal mechanism within the mirror visor is inserted through the through hole and into the insertion hole from the opening portion thereof. Then, the stay cover is mounted to close the opening portion of the insertion hole. As a result, the cord can be wired from the internal mechanism to an interior of a vehicle while being held by the insertion hole and the through hole. Accordingly, work for wiring the cord is easy and workability can be improved.

Vehicle mirror device

A wheel, made of aluminium, for an automobile, including an aluminum body part, and a cover as a design part which is removably fitted to the aluminum body part. The aluminum body part, including a rim part and a disc part, imparts a desired strength to the wheel. The cover has a substantially disc-shaped cover body that covers a front face of the aluminum body part, and fixing means, arranged circumferentially with a spacing therebetween, which is installed on a rear surface of the cover body.
