A bearing pad for a tilting-pad bearing includes a first member having a bearing surface and a second member disposed on a back surface side of the first member. At least one of a back surface of the first member or a front surface of the second member facing the back surface of the first member has a recess for forming a cavity between the first member and the second member. Preferably, the bearing pad further includes a support member disposed on a back surface side of the second member and tiltably supporting the first member and the second member, and the recess is formed over at least a part of an installation range of the support member in a plan view of the bearing pad.

Bearing pad for tilting-pad bearing, tilting-pad bearing, and rotary machine

A support part supports a bearing pad from an outer circumferential side so as to be swingable at a pivot position. A radius of curvature of a rotary shaft is Rj, a radius of curvature of a pad surface is Rp, and a radius of curvature of a reference circle centered at an axial line and having a radius equal to a distance between a center and the pivot position on the pad surface is Rb, and a relationship of Rj&#x3c;Rp&#x3c;Rb is established.

A pad bearing includes a pad disposed on a radially outer side of a rotary shaft and supporting the rotary shaft so as to be rotatable around an axis, a block-shaped nozzle member disposed on an upstream side with respect to the pad on the radially outer side of the rotary shaft and including a discharge hole for discharging a lubricant toward an outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft, and a compressed flow forming unit disposed in at least one of the pad and the nozzle member and configured to compress a flow of the lubricant flowing along the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft as the rotary shaft rotates.

A tilting pad gas bearing includes: a plurality of bearing pads disposed in a circumferential direction of a rotor; and a pivot member that swingably supports the bearing pads. Each of the bearing pads has a curved shape and includes: a pad main body supported by the pivot member; a heat insulating material layer disposed on a side of the pad main body that faces the outer circumferential surface of the rotor, and formed of a material having a thermal conductivity lower than a thermal conductivity of the pad main body; and a concave portion disposed in an outer circumferential surface on an outer circumferential side of the bearing pad in a curving direction. A base end of the pivot member is fixed to a housing, and the pivot member has a protruding portion that passes through the housing.

Tilting pad gas bearing

A turbomachine includes: a rotational shaft; a pair of thrust collars disposed around the rotational shaft; a thrust bearing disposed around the rotational shaft at an axial directional position between the pair of thrust collars; and an oil-drain channel disposed around the rotational shaft, for draining lubricant oil after lubricating a sliding portion between the thrust bearing and the thrust collars. The oil-drain channel includes: an oil-drain port portion for discharging the lubricant oil inside the oil-drain channel downward; and an oil-guide channel portion disposed above the oil-drain port portion and configured to guide the lubricant oil from the sliding portion in a circumferential direction of the rotational shaft to the oil-drain port portion. The oil-guide channel portion has an asymmetric shape with respect to a rotational direction of the rotational shaft, the oil-guide channel portion having a minimum flow-path cross sectional area at a first position on an upstream side in the rotational direction, and a maximum flow-path cross sectional area at a second position on a downstream side of the first position.

Turbomachine

An oil-drain device for a thrust bearing includes: a rotor shaft; a collar member mounted to an outer periphery of the rotor shaft; a thrust bearing supporting the rotor shaft in an axial direction; and an oil-drain space forming member defining an oil-drain space through which lubricant oil leaking from a sliding portion of the thrust bearing flows, between the thrust bearing and the oil-drain space forming member. The oil-drain space includes: an oil-drain channel defined between a first end surface of the thrust bearing and a first end surface of the oil-drain space forming member, surrounding the flange portion of the collar member; and an oil-drain port formed below the oil-drain channel, for discharging the lubricant oil flowing through the oil-drain channel outside the oil-drain space. The oil-drain space is configured to guide the lubricant oil flowing through the oil-drain channel to outside the oil-drain space via the oil-drain port, along a flow direction of the lubricant oil flowing through the oil-drain channel from an upstream side toward a downstream side in a rotational direction of the rotor shaft.

Oil-drain device for thrust bearing device and turbocharger provided with the same

An object is to provide a floating bush bearing device including a circumferential groove over the entire circumference of an outer peripheral surface of a floating bush while ensuring that a pressing force is applied by lubricant oil to the floating bush to reduce oscillation, as well as a turbocharger provided with the bearing device. A floating bush bearing device includes: a rotary shaft disposed rotatably inside a bearing hole of a casing; a floating bush surrounding the rotary shaft; an oil-feed hole of lubricant oil having an opening on an inner peripheral surface of the bearing hole; a plurality of communication holes formed on the floating bush, each extending between an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface of the floating bush, and disposed at intervals in a circumferential direction of the floating bush; and a circumferential groove formed on the outer peripheral surface of the floating bush or the inner peripheral surface of the bearing hole and extending over an entire circumference of the outer peripheral surface of the floating bush or the inner peripheral surface of the bearing hole, the circumferential groove passing through openings of the plurality of communication holes or facing the openings of the plurality of communication holes. The circumferential groove has a cross-sectional area which varies in accordance with a circumferential position.

Floating bush bearing device and turbocharger provided with the bearing device

A rotary machine is provided with: a flange section protruding in the radial direction of a rotating shaft which rotates about an axis and rotating together with the rotating shaft; a stationary bush disposed at a distance in the direction of the axis from the flange section, surrounding the outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft, and provided in a housing supporting the rotating shaft so as to be immovable in the direction of the axis relative to the rotating shaft; and a rotation bush which is disposed between the flange section and the stationary bush so as to be sandwiched there between in the direction of the axis, covers the outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft, and is rotatable relative to the rotating shaft and the housing while floating in fluid. The rotation bush has, on the surface thereof which faces the direction of the axis, a land surface and a tapered surface which is continuous with the land surface.

A tilting-pad bearing for rotatably supporting a rotor includes: a casing; and a plurality of bearing pads each mounted to the casing pivotably about a pivot. Each of the plurality of bearing pads has a bearing pad surface facing the rotor, the bearing pad surface including a first region disposed on an upstream side in a rotational direction of the rotor and having a first curvature radius, and a second region disposed on a downstream side of the first region in the rotational direction and having a second curvature radius smaller than the first curvature radius.

Tilting-pad bearing

An object is to provide a tilting-pad bearing device whereby it is possible to levitate a rotation shaft with a low supply-oil pressure. A tilting-pad bearing device includes a plurality of bearing pads disposed around a rotation shaft so as to support the rotation shaft rotatably, a support member interposed between the plurality of bearing pads and a bearing housing supporting the plurality of bearing pads, the support member supporting each of the plurality of bearing pads pivotably, and an oil-supply mechanism configured to supply a lubricant oil to at least one oil groove formed on a bearing surface of at least one of the plurality of bearing pads. The at least one oil groove is disposed inside and outside a contact area of the bearing surface which is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the rotation shaft when the rotation shaft is stopped.

Tilting pad bearing device

A planetary gear train is provided with: a carrier; a planetary gear; a planetary pin inserted into an insert hole provided through the planetary gear and coupled to the carrier to rotatably support the planetary gear; a thrust collar attached to a surface opposed to the planetary gear of the carrier so as to surround the planetary pin; and a pin for coupling the thrust collar to the carrier. The thrust collar has a first surface opposed to the carrier and a second surface opposed to the planetary gear, and has a first pin hole provided on the first surface so as not to reach the second surface. The carrier has a second pin hole on a surface opposed to the planetary gear. The thrust collar is attached to the carrier by inserting the pin into the first pin hole of the thrust collar and into the second pin hole of the carrier.

Planetary gear train with thrust collar used as thrust bearing of planetary gear and wind turbine generator incorporating the same

A planetary gear train is provided with: a planetary gear; a planetary pin for supporting the planetary gear; a carrier for supporting the planetary pin; and a housing for accommodating at least a portion of the carrier, the planetary gear and the planetary pin. The planetary gear is rotatable with respect to the planetary pin by a bearing. An oiling flow path for supplying lubricant oil to the bearing is formed inside the carrier. The carrier receives the lubricant oil into the oiling flow path from an oiling member stationarily fixed to the housing. The inlet for receiving the lubricant oil into the oiling flow path of the carrier from the oiling member is positioned inside the housing.
