A movement preventing structure for a color separation prism prevents or reduces the movement in an optical axis direction of the color separation prism caused by the thermal expansion or contraction of a color separation prism supporting member. In the movement preventing structure for a color separation prism, in which the movement in an optical axis direction of the color separation prism is prevented by the thermal expansion or contraction of the color separation prism supporting member which supports the color separation prism arranged between a mount part, on which a lens apparatus is detachably mounted, and a solid-state image sensing element of a camera apparatus having the mount part and the solid-state image sensing element, the movement preventing structure has a color separation prism movement preventing member being formed of a thermally-expanding material, having a first fixing part fixed to the color separation prism and a second fixing part fixed to the color separation prism supporting member, and the length in an optical axis direction thereof being changed by thermal expansion or contraction; the color separation prism supporting member supports the color separation prism so that the color separation prism is movable in an optical axis direction; and the length in an optical axis direction of the color separation prism movement preventing member is changed by thermal expansion or contraction, and the color separation prism movement preventing member applies a force to the color separation prism fixed in the first fixing part, whereby the color separation prism is moved in the direction reverse to the direction of the movement of the color separation prism caused by the thermal expansion or contraction of the color separation prism supporting member.

Movement preventing structure for color separation prism

When the adjusting shaft is rotated, the rotation of the adjusting shaft is transmitted to the rotationally movable barrel. The rotationally movable barrel rotates so that the rotationally movable barrel moves forward and backward along optical axis while rotating due to the interaction between the female screw portion formed in the distal end of the rotationally movable barrel and the male screw portion formed in the second flange portion of the fixed barrel. The forward and backward movement of the rotationally movable barrel along optical axis causes the rectilinearly movable barrel connected to the connecting portion of the rotationally movable barrel through the groove, to move forward and backward along optical axis. Accordingly, the CCD fixed to the rectilinearly movable barrel through the CCD carrier moves forward and backward along optical axis, thereby correcting the flange-back length.

Image pick-up device and adjustment mechanism

An optical lens assembly containing a plural number of lens elements for an optical system to be incorporated into a tip end portion of an endoscopic insertion instrument. Of a plural number of lenses which constitute an optical system, a metal film layer is formed on confronting outer peripheral surface portions of at least two adjacently located lenses, outside respective effective lens areas, and the two adjacently located lenses are assembled and fixedly bonded together by applying solder to the outer peripheral surface portions with a metal film layer.

Lens assembly for endoscopic lens system

The insertion part of the endoscope has a cap fixed to the distal end face of a distal end body. A projecting part of the cap is inserted in a receiving hole formed on the distal end face. The inserted projecting part is fixed to the distal end body with a screw inserted in an attachment hole, which is formed on the periphery of the distal end body and connects with the receiving hole. Bending rubber covers the attachment hole as well as the outer periphery of the distal end body.
