Provided is a radio-controlled watch capable of performing leap second correction even when information on a leap second is not received from a satellite. Provided is a radio-controlled watch that adjusts time by receiving a signal containing time information from a satellite, the radio-controlled watch being configured to: store a leap second correction value to be used for leap second correction with respect to the time information; display a numerical value corresponding to the leap second correction value; receive an instruction operation of changing the leap second correction value from a user in a state in which the numerical value is displayed; and change the leap second correction value in response to the received instruction operation.

Thus, the magnetism-collection membersandcome into contact respectively with the additional coresand, and, at the same time, the additional coresandcome into contact respectively with the extension portionsandof the antenna core. Accordingly an antenna-core body with a large single body is formed, which enhances the reception performance.

And the first conductor portion,of the antenna,in the communication device module assembly is positioned on a side of the circuit board,opposite to the support frame and outward, and the second conductor portion,is positioned on a side of the support frame,opposite to the circuit board and outward. As a result, the conductor portion of the antenna is positioned in an outermost portion of the communication device module. Therefore, the dimension of strap in the thickness direction and the dimension of the communication device case in the plane direction can be set to small values, respectively. In addition, favorable feeling of wearing the communication device can be obtained, and the size of the communication device as a whole can be made small.

A transmitter/receiver apparatus includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter includes an intermittent signal generator and an intermittent modulator. The intermittent signal generator generates an intermittent signal. The intermittent modulator outputs an intermittent modulated signal, as a radio signal, which is obtained by intermittently modulating a carrier on the basis of the intermittent signal. The receiver includes a synchronization determining circuit and a synchronization detector. The synchronization determining circuit has a receiving circuit for receiving the radio signal from the transmitter and outputting a demodulated signal and is designed to detect the presence/absence of the demodulated signal and output a determining signal. The synchronization detector generates an intermittent sync signal having the same period as that of the intermittent signal from the transmitter, and performs a synchronization detecting operation with respect to the intermittent signal from the transmitter on the basis of the intermittent sync signal and the determining signal from the synchronization determining circuit. The intermittent signal generator of the transmitter generates intermittent signals having intervals which cyclically change.
