A glass panel assembly sealing method and sealing process furnace used therewith wherein coordinated control of temperature and pressure enables the removal of impure gas and the like from the glass panel assembly and reduces the amount of residual impure gas and the like remaining in the glass panel assembly after the sealing process is complete. A seal frit is applied between two mutually overlaid glass substrates comprising a glass panel assembly. The internal temperature of the glass panel assembly is raised, through a forcefully circulated environment, to a preliminary temperature Twhich is near the initial melting temperature of the seal frit. The pressure (P) of the internal environment is then reduced while the preliminary temperature is maintained. The temperature is then increased from the preliminary temperature up to the sealing temperature Tby the forcefully circulated environment, after which the glass panel assembly is cooled by the forceful circulated environment.

Method of sealing glass panel assembly and sealing process furnace

A method and apparatus for fabricating a plasma display panel with increased efficiency and productivity is provided. A glass panel assembly P,constructed from two glass plates W,, W,, which are joined together by a jig,with a sealant S applied along a periphery of one or the other of the opposing surfaces of the two glass plates W,, W,, is supported on an evacuating cart,in such a manner as to be positioned inside a furnace,. The exhaust pipe Pa provided in any one of the glass plates W,, W,is connected switchably between an evacuating system,and a discharge gas supply system,. After evacuating the interior of the glass panel P,, a discharge gas is filled into the glass panel P,and finally the exhaust pipe Pa is sealed and cut.

Method and apparatus for processing glass panel

A press-cushion sheet having an enhanced durability in practical use comprises a three- to six-ply woven fabric composed of heat resistant fiber spun warp and weft yarns with a cotton count of 2 to 10 and having warp and weft densities of 80-170 yarns/2.54 cm and 50-160 yarns/2.54 cm respectively, the individual warp yarns in the fabric are bent in the form of waves and have a bending coefficient (BC) of from 1 to 30 determined in accordance with the equation (I): ##EQU1## wherein d represents a thickness of the fabric and n represents the wave number of the warp yarns bent in the form of waves, per 10 cm of the fabric, and optionally, a heat-resistance resin impregnated in the fabric.

A flame resistant staple fiber blend, useful for flame-resistant clothing, comprising 80 to 97 weight parts of m-aramide polymer staple fibers (A) with a small thermal shrinkage stress of 130 mg/d or less at 350.degree. C., 3 to 20 weight parts of p-aramide copolymer staple fibers (B) with a higher flame resistance than that of the m-aramide fiber (A), and optionally, 240 weight parts or less of non-fusible staple fibers (C) with a lower thermal shrinkage stress than that of the staple fiber (A).

The disclosure relates to a vacuum sintering furnace having a lubricant eliminating section, sintering section and cooling section which are aligned in series and connected by connecting hood means to each other so that a workpiece may be directly transferred to the following section without exposure of the workpiece to outside air. The connecting hood means comprises doors for selectively opening and closing the boundaries between the neighboring sections. Furthermore, the lubricant eliminating section is provided with a lubricant trapping device mounted on an exhaust line connecting a furnace body and a vacuum pump to each other, thereby the stable operation of the vacuum pump is ensured.
