Converter and power receiving apparatus

In a power supply device, the bridge circuit is configured by connecting, in parallel, a plurality of series circuits of an inverse-parallel connection circuit of a semiconductor switch and a diode. Power supply device

An electric power receiving device in one aspect of embodiments of the present disclosure comprises an electric power receiving section and a converting section. The converting section comprises a compensation voltage generating section. The compensation voltage generating section generates a compensation voltage capable of canceling out a reactance component in the electric power receiving section, and applies the compensation voltage to the electric power receiving section. The compensation voltage generating section comprises a phase changing section, a physical quantity detecting section, and a searching section. The searching section searches a target phase of the compensation voltage that brings the electric power receiving device into a substantially resonant state, based on a physical quantity detected by the physical quantity detecting section. The compensation voltage generating section determines the compensation voltage having the target phase as the compensation voltage to be applied to the electric power receiving section.

Electric power receiving device and method of receiving electric power

An electric power receiving device according to the invention receives an electric power from a primary coil, with which a first alternating voltage is applied and through which a first alternate current flows. The device includes an electric power receiving section and a reducing-voltage generating section. The receiving section includes a secondary coil electromagnetically coupled to the primary coil and a capacitor connected to the secondary coil, and generates a second alternating voltage based upon the first alternating current. The generating section generates a reducing-voltage and applies the reducing-voltage to the receiving section, the reducing-voltage being capable of reducing a reactance voltage generated in the receiving section by a second alternating current generated in the receiving section due to the second alternating voltage, and the reducing-voltage being approximately equal to the second alternating voltage in frequency.

A transformer includes a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a core. The core is to be used in combination with the primary coil or the secondary coil, and includes a conductor storage part and a central part. The conductor storage part is a concave recess formed in an annular manner and configured to store a conductor of the coil therein. The central part is a region inward from the conductor when the core is used in combination with the coil. The central part has a recessed shape having an opening that opens toward a direction opposite to a direction of an opening of the concave recess. The central part has an end, at a side opposite to a side of the opening of the central part, which is generally flat so as to be contiguous with an inner opening edge of the conductor storage part.

Transformer

In a power supply device, the bridge circuit including a plurality of switching arms which is an inverse-parallel circuit of a semiconductor switch and a diode. The power supply device includes a control unit. The control unit switches the semiconductor switch such that a voltage v between AC terminals becomes a positive-negative voltage whose peak value is the voltage Vbetween the DC terminals only during prescribed time periods before and after a point that has deviated from each zero crossing point ZCP of a current i by a prescribed compensation period &#x3c6; and such that the voltage v between the AC terminals becomes a zero voltage during the other time periods, and sets the compensation period &#x3c6; such that a time period during which the voltage v between the AC terminals becomes a zero voltage is the shortest.
