A first open/close valve (), a drip chamber (), and a variable valve () are provided in this order on a first flow path () from a first connector () side toward a downstream connector () side. A second flow path (), on which a second open/close valve () is provided, is connected to a section of the first flow path between the first open/close valve and the drip chamber. A priming method includes a first step of causing the first liquid to flow from a first container () into the first flow path and priming the first flow path using the first liquid, and a second step of causing the second liquid to flow from a second container () into the second flow path and priming the second flow path using the second liquid. In the second step, the second liquid moves air that has been present in the second flow path toward the first container ().

Priming method for infusion set, and infusion set

A puncture needle connector () includes an outer cylinder (), an inner cavity () formed within the outer cylinder (), an arm () provided at the outer cylinder (), the arm () being elastically deformable by bending, and a claw () provided on the arm (). The inner cavity () is in communication with the outside via a first opening () and a second opening (). When a puncture needle () is inserted into the inner cavity () via a first opening (), the claw () engages with an engagement structure () provided integrally with the puncture needle (), a liquid-tight seal () is formed between an outer circumferential surface of the puncture needle () and an inner circumferential surface of the inner cavity (), and the puncture needle () and the second opening () are in communication with the each other.

Puncture needle connector and connecting tube

An infusion set () includes: a first flow path () having a first connector () and a downstream connector (); a first open/close valve (), a first liquid surface sensor (), a second liquid surface sensor (), a drip chamber (), and a variable valve () that are provided in this order on the first flow path from the first connector side toward the downstream connector side; a droplet sensor () with which the drip chamber is provided; a second flow path () having a second connector (); and a second open/close valve () provided on the second flow path. The second flow path is in communication with a portion of the first flow path between the first liquid surface sensor and the second liquid surface sensor. The controller is configured to control the first and second open/close valves and the variable valves based on signals from the first and second liquid surface sensors and the droplet sensor.

Infusion apparatus

A drug container connector () is provided with a puncture needle () capable of puncturing a plug () that seals a mouth () of a container (); and a cover () that covers an opening, on a tip side, of a flow channel () formed in the puncture needle (). The puncture needle () is configured to penetrate the cover () and puncture the plug (). The puncture needle () is provided on a connector main body (). The cover () is held by a slider (). The slider () is movable with respect to the connector main body () in a longitudinal direction of the puncture needle (). The slider () is provided with claws () capable of engaging with a flange () at the mouth of the container ().

Drug container connector and male member cover

An infusion set () includes a first flow channel () constituted by a pliable tube () and including a spike () provided at one end thereof, a second flow channel () constituted by a pliable tube () and including a lock connector () provided at one end thereof, the lock connector () including a lock mechanism () that is brought into engagement with a female connector (), a third flow channel () constituted by pliable tubes (and) and including a male connector () provided at one end thereof, and a three-way stopcock () to which another end of the first flow channel, another end of the second flow channel and another end of the third flow channel are connected. The three-way stopcock includes a handle () that can be switched between a first position that brings the first flow channel and the third flow channel into communication with each other and a second position that brings the second flow channel and the third flow channel into communication with each other.

Infusion set and method for using same

A lock mechanism includes a hood () that is arranged so as to surround the periphery of a male member () and is for insertion of a female connector (), and a single lock lever () having a cantilever support structure capable of elastic displacement. The lock lever () includes a claw () for engaging with the female connector (), and an operation portion () for elastically displacing the lock lever () in a direction of separation from the male member (). The claw () and the operation portion () are provided on the free end side of the lock lever ().

Male connector equipped with lock mechanism

A lock mechanism includes a hood () that is arranged so as to surround the periphery of a male member () and is for insertion of a female connector (), and a single lock lever () having a cantilever support structure capable of elastic displacement. The lock lever () is arranged with the free end () thereof on the tip side of the male member (), with the fixed end () thereof on the base end side of the male member (), and with the lengthwise direction thereof being approximately parallel to the male member (). The lock lever () includes a claw () for engaging with the female connector (). An operation arm () protrudes from the face of the lock lever () on the side opposite to the male member (), and extends toward the fixed end () side. If a pressing force in the direction approaching the male member () is applied to the tip () of the operation arm (), the lock lever () undergoes elastic deformation such that the claw () moves away from the male member ().

A first male member () and a tubular portion () are in communication via first to third holes (to). A liquid channel () and a gas channel () of the second male member () are in communication with the tubular portion. First to third channels (to) are formed in a stopcock (). The stopcock can switch between a first rotation position at which the first channel puts the first hole and a syringe connection portion () of the tubular portion in communication, and a second rotation position at which the first channel puts the liquid channel and the syringe connection portion in communication. When the stopcock is at the second rotation position, the second hole and the gas channel are in communication via the second channel, and the first male member and an inner cavity () of the stopcock are in communication via the third hole and the third channel. A first hydrophobic filter () is provided in the channel that connects the first male member and the gas channel when the stopcock is at the second rotation position, and a second hydrophobic filter () is provided in the channel that connects the first male member and the air supplying member () that is connected to the stopcock when the stopcock is at the second rotation position.

Medical connector

A medical port includes a disc-shaped valvein which an insertion hole is formed in a central portion, a base seatthat supports the valve from a lower surface side, and a coverthat has a fitting hole exposing an upper surface of the central portion of the valve and covers at least a peripheral edge of the valve from the upper surface side, the fitting hole being formed so that when an inserting body has been inserted into the insertion hole, a fit between the inserting body and the fitting hole can cause the inserting body to be locked against the cover. An annular protrusionis formed in the valve, the annular protrusion being continuous in the circumferential direction, and formed in the valveso that in the state in which the inserting body is locked against the cover, the annular protrusion is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of a leading end portion of the inserting body.

Medical port

A male member () includes a tubular member () and a cover () covering at least a tip () of the tubular member. A lateral hole () that communicates with a flow path () is formed in an outer peripheral surface of the tubular member. The cover includes an outer peripheral wall () that can be deformed elastically by compression and a head part () that is provided at one end of the outer peripheral wall. The head part includes an interior cavity () into which the tubular member is inserted, and a slit () is formed in an innermost part () of the interior cavity. In a state where the outer peripheral wall is not deformed by compression, an inner peripheral surface of the interior cavity contacts closely with the outer peripheral surface of the tubular member so as to block the lateral hole, and the tip of the tubular member and the innermost part of the interior cavity are spaced apart from each other. Thereby, it is possible to reduce an amount of a liquid substance adhering to outer surfaces of the cover and a female member after separation from the female member.

Male member

A mixed injection port capable of suppressing the continuous accumulation of medical fluid or blood therein and allowing efficient internal cleaning, wherein a recirculation part () is formed at a step between an inner cavity () and a thin tube part (). Even if the fluid is accumulated in a clearance area () produced in the inner cavity () when a lure is inserted into a slit (), the fluid can be securely replaced with the fluid newly flowing therein through a septum () and the continuous accumulation of the fluid can be suppressed. A more efficient internal cleaning can be realized by installing a fluid accumulation prevention part such as an annular rib between the septum () and the inside wall of the inner cavity () and burying the clearance area ().

Mixture injection port

A connector () that can be connected to a first container and a second container () to transfer a liquid between the first container and the second container () includes a first connecting portion () that is engageable with the first container and a second connecting portion () that is engageable with the second container (). The second connecting portion () is integrally provided with an engagement portion that is engageable with the second container () and a needle-like portion () for piercing into the second container (). Thus, it is possible to prevent a container from falling off during liquid transfer. Also, since the needle-like portion () is integral with the second connecting portion (), connection to the second container () is facilitated.

Connector

One end of a tubular portion () is sealed with a stopcock () that is fitted in the tubular portion (). A first flow channel () and a second flow channel () are formed in the stopcock (). A first hole (), a second hole (), a third hole (), and a fourth hole () are formed in a connector main body (). Switching between a setting that brings an inner space () of the tubular portion () into communication with the first hole () via the first flow channel () and a setting that brings the inner space () of the tubular portion () into communication with the second hole () via the first flow channel () and brings the third hole () into communication with the fourth hole () via the second flow channel () can be achieved by rotating the stopcock ().

A plate clamp where clamp resistance when a tube is slid from an insertion hole to a slit section is low, where clamping operation is easy, and where the tube being clamped at the slit section is less likely to unintentionally slide to the through-hole side. The clamp for a tube has the slit section for clamping and holding the tube at plate-like members, a tube lead-in section as a groove forwardly expanding from the forward end of the slit section, and the tube insertion hole continuously formed with the tube lead-in section. A stopper section is provided only on one side of the boundary between the tube lead-in section and the slit section.
