The first attaching member is configured to be fixed to a portion on the center side of the body of the joint portion to which the brace is attached. The second attaching member is configured to be fixed to a portion of the joint portion opposite to the center side of the body. The pressing member is configured to press a portion of the joint portion that extends when the joint portion bends. The plurality of tension members is configured to pull and connect the first attaching member, the second attaching member, and the pressing member. Each of the plurality of tension members is arranged such that the amount of change in the length of the tension member when the joint portion is bent and extended is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value.

Brace

A shank outer link moves away from a thigh outer link in the longitudinal direction of the shank outer link and the shank outer link is drawn forward in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the shank outer link relative to the thigh outer link as a knee joint of a user is extended. A shank inner link moves away from a thigh inner link in the longitudinal direction of the shank inner link and the shank inner link is drawn forward in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the shank inner link relative to the thigh inner link as the knee joint of the user is extended.

A lower limb exercise device that enables a user to perform a lower limb exercise effectively is achieved. A lower limb exercise device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure enables a user to perform a lower limb exercise while the user is seated on a chair. The present disclosure can provide a leg brace capable of reducing a pain in a knee while both enhancing its convenience and reducing the burden on an ankle. the leg brace including: a first pushing part that pushes a leg of the wearer outward so that an ankle bone is positioned above a heel bone; a second pushing part that pushes the leg of the wearer inward so that the ankle bone is positioned above the heel bone; a restraint part that restrains a positional relation between the first and the second pushing parts in which they face each other across the leg of the wearer; and a placement part on which a foot of the wearer is placed, the placement part being connected to the first pushing part or the second pushing part.

Leg brace

A knee brace includes a thigh fixing part, a shank fixing part, an outer leg joint that couples the thigh fixing part with the shank fixing part, and an inner leg joint that couples the thigh fixing part with the shank fixing part. When the wearer P flexes his/her knee joint, a lower arm is rotated with respect to an upper arm along with a rotation fulcrum shaft sliding in a long groove and a cam shaft sliding in a cam groove. When the outer leg joint and the inner leg joint are extended, the lower arm of the outer leg joint is configured to be moved relatively forward with respect to the lower arm of the inner leg joint.

A foot-pedaling exercise apparatus includes a crank, a main-body part configured to rotatably hold the crank, a link rotatably connected to the crank, the link including a pedal on which a sitting user puts his/her foot, a moving member disposed in the link, and a tilt table including an inclined surface on which the moving member slides.

The knee joint weight-bearing apparatus includes a buttock attaching part, a lower-leg attaching part, and two thigh connection units. Each thigh connection unit includes a front thigh link and a rear thigh link. The buttock attaching part, the lower-leg attaching part, the front thigh link, and the rear thigh link constitute a four-bar linkage. The buttock attaching part is configured so that when a user applies his/her weight to the buttock attaching part, a tensile force is generated in the front thigh link and a compressive force acts on the rear thigh link. The rear thigh link includes a gas spring that is configured to be stretchable in a longitudinal direction thereof and generates a resistive force against the compressive force.

A transfer assist apparatus includes: an arm portion that has a first joint and a second joint; a holder portion linked to the arm portion; a manipulation handle for manipulating the position and the posture of the holder portion; a first drive mechanism that drives the first joint; a second drive mechanism that drives the second joint; and a control portion that controls the first drive mechanism and the second drive mechanism so that the posture of the holder portion is maintained in a predetermined acceptable range, based on information that is input from the manipulation handle, and angle information regarding the first joint and the second joint.

Transfer assist apparatus, and control method therefor

Since both a driving means for lifting a work and a driving means for turning operation must have been arranged in a conventional work transfer apparatus, the apparatus has been large in size and heavy in weight. A work transfer apparatus is provided with a holding tool for holding a window, i.e., the work, and a supporting arm for movably supporting the holding tool. The window held by the holding tool is transferred by a supporting arm to window frames to which the window is to be assembled, and the posture of the window is changed to that corresponds to the window frames. Furthermore, the supporting arm is configured to be a closed loop link mechanism wherein a plurality of links are connected to form a closed loop. The posture of the holding tool one link of a pair of links connected to the holding tool of the supporting arm can be fixed.

The power assist apparatus thus autonomously cooperated with the working action of the operator comprises a transfer tool including an articulated robot, a sucking jig and a free joint for gripping and transferring windows, and a control device for controlling the actions of the transfer tool. The control device divides and stores a series of working tasks into a plurality of working section, and sets control logics for the individual working sections and for the individual working directions, in which the power assist apparatus has degrees of freedom.
