A table type display device, in which a high resolution display with an unremarkable connection is realized at the time of large screen display by using a screen with a composition having few bending is described. Table type display device

A table type display device capable of selecting the best projector according to user's budget and mode is provided for with easy exchange of the projector. Table type display device and an assembling method thereof

A multi vision device including a projection device constituted by an array of a plurality of projection units each including a rear projection projector and a housing to support the rear projection projector; and a screen located away from the projection device and displays pictures projected from the projection device. Pictures projected from the adjoining projection units overlap on the screen and are configured to form one picture on the screen. In this manner, highly accurate projected pictures are obtained with no borders between the pictures adjacent to each other. The height and width of the pictures projected onto the screen are greater than the height and width on the side of the projection device that faces the screen.

Multivision device

In an image calibration device a calibration pattern is projected onto a screen from each projector under control of a personal computer or other calibration device , pictures are taken by a digital camera or other image pick-up device and the results are supplied to the calibration device . The calibration device uses the supplied picture data to calculate parameters in order to perform picture positioning, color adjustment, brightness adjustment and other adjustments and corrections, and based on the calculation results transforms the original picture data, generates and supplies signals indicating projection conditions to each of the projectors and performs image calibration control of the pictures projected by each projector Here at the time of taking pictures, by installing on the image pick-up device a shielding member formed into a tetragonal pyramid shape, the light-receiving part of the image pick-up device and the screen are completely shielded from ambient external light. By this means, the measurement precision of the image pick-up device is improved, and accurate and reliable image calibration is performed.

Image calibration device and image calibration method

An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier rotatably disposed in a main body and having an image carrier surface, a transfer unit for transferring a toner image formed on the image carrier surface to a recording member, and a cleaning blade located in a downstream side of the transfer unit in a rotational direction of the image carrier and scraping a residual toner left on the image carrier surface. The transfer unit is located on a portion of the image carrier such that an imaginary normal extending outward from the image carrier surface is directed upward with respect to a horizontal direction and the transfer unit transfers the toner image to a lower surface of the recording member. The cleaning blade is brought into contact with a downward moving portion of the image carrier which has passed through the transfer unit, at a contact angle of not less than 90.degree. relative to the downstream portion of the carrier in a 'with' contact state, and the residual toner scraped by the cleaning blade is moved downard along an upper surface of the cleaning blade.

Cleaning blade arrangement for image forming apparatus

A cover is pivotally supported on the main body frame to close an opening formed on the side of the main body frame, and pivotally supports a sheet convey unit positioned between the cover and the main body frame. A sheet inserted into the main body frame is conveyed along a guide path defined between the main body frame and the convey unit to an image forming section so that one surface of the sheet is printed. Then, the sheet is turned and transferred along the path defined between the cover and the convey unit. The sheet is again conveyed to the image forming section so that the other surface of the sheet is printed.

Two-side image recording apparatus

A sheet feeder is adapted to feed sheets, received in a stack within a sheet cassette, one by one by a feed roller which rocks in response to a feed signal. The sheet feeder includes a detecting member for detecting the number of sheets left within the cassette, and means responsive to a signal from the detecting member for controlling the timing when the feed signal is produced. In this manner, an amount of flexure produced in the sheet being fed before it reaches resistor rollers is maintained constant.

Sheet feeder for copying machines

An electrophotographic apparatus of the retention type is provided with a record paper detection assembly which generates a paper shortage signal when the number of record papers stored in a paper cassette is decreased to a predetermined small number substantially equal to the number of copies which can be formed from a single latent image. When the paper shortage signal is produced during a retention copy for a document, the copying operation is completed for the current document, but further copying operation for a next document is inhibited. After the copying operation for the current document has been finished, an indication lamp is lighted to indicate that the remaining number of record papers in the cassette has been reduced to the predetermined number. Further, the copying operation for the next document which has been set on a document table can be initiated automatically after the paper cassette with a sufficient number of papers stored therein has been attached to the apparatus.
