A flux unit includes a flux supply device configured to eject flux to a storage tray, an ejection port configured to eject the flux, and an ejection port moving device configured to move the ejection port in the radial direction of the storage tray. By this, the flux is ejected in a wide range in the radial direction of the storage tray. Also, the storage tray is rotated by a tray rotation device. Thus, the film thickness of the flux ejected in the wide range of the storage tray is adjusted by a squeegee all at once. Thus, the time required for adjusting the film thickness of the flux can be reduced.

An apparatus for automatically measuring blood pressure of a subject based on heartbeat-synchronous pulses, the apparatus having a device including a cuff and detecting a magnitude of each of the pulses produced from the subject as pressure in the cuff is varied, a device for collecting not less than a first number of the detected pulses, and plotting a corresponding number of points in a table defined by a first axis indicative of the cuff pressure and a second axis indicative of the pulse magnitude, such that each of the plotted points represents a cuff pressure at a time of detection of a corresponding one of the collected pulses and a pulse magnitude of the corresponding one pulse, a device for selecting a second number of consecutive points from the plotted points and determining a regression line of the selected points, a device for determining, based on the regression line, at least one expected pulse magnitude regarding at least one point adjacent to the selected points, a device for determining a temporary maximum blood pressure based on the at least one point if a pulse magnitude represented by each of the at least one point is higher than a corresponding one of the at least one expected pulse magnitude, a device for determining a proper maximum blood pressure, and a device for displaying the temporary maximum blood pressure prior to the proper maximum blood pressure.

Automatic blood pressure measuring apparatus

A method and an apparatus for determining blood pressure of a subject based on heartbeat-synchronous pulses, the method including the steps of detecting the heartbeat-synchronous pulses as pressure in an inflatable cuff set on a body portion of a subject is varied, preparing a plural sets of point data each of which represents a pressure of the cuff at the time of detection of a corresponding one of the pulses and a magnitude of the corresponding one pulse, plotting, based on the prepared plural sets of point data, a plurality of points in a two-dimensional table defined by a first axis indicative of the pressure of the cuff and a second axis indicative of the magnitude of the pulses, selecting a predetermined number of consecutive points from the plotted points such that the predetermined number is not less than three, determining a regression line of the selected consecutive points, such that each of the at least one point is plotted with a statistically high probability inside a corresponding one of the at least one prediction interval, and determining blood pressure of the subject based on the at least one point, if the each of the at least one point is plotted outside the corresponding one of the at least one prediction interval.

Method and apparatus for measuring blood pressure

An electroacoustic transducer having a piezoelectric element disposed on a diaphragm for converting an acoustic signal to an electric signal, and a differential amplifier for amplifying the electric signal. The piezoelectric element is connected between one of two input lines connected to the differential amplifier, and a reference voltage source. A load having substantially the same impedance as the piezoelectric element is connected between the reference voltage source and the other input line. The load may consist of another piezoelectric element.
