A firewall apparatus including plural virtual firewalls, each virtual firewall including a dependent firewall policy, is disclosed. The firewall apparatus includes: a distribution management table for managing a user name and a virtual firewall ID; a part configured to receive authentication information for network connection from a user terminal, and hold a user name included in the authentication information; a part configured to report the authentication information to the authentication server; and a part configured to receive an authentication response from the authentication server, and hold a user ID, included in the authentication response, to be provided to the user terminal. The firewall apparatus registers the user ID in the distribution management table associating the user ID with the user name.

A camera shutter having a shutter aperture, shutter blades, and a driving device for driving the shutter blades to open and close the shutter aperture. The driving device includes a pair of lever members spaced apart and confronting each other across the shutter aperture, each of the lever members having a first end portion and a second end portion. A piezoelectric element is connected to and between the lever members at the first end portions thereof for undergoing elastic deformation to oscillate the lever members. An elastic member is connected to and between the lever members at the second end portions thereof for undergoing elastic displacement in response to oscillation of the lever members. A transmission member is integrally connected to a central portion of the elastic member for transmitting the displacement of the elastic member to the shutter blades to open and close the shutter aperture.

The position of the drive member is identified at each monitoring point, and a position identification signal is generated. The sequence of movement of the distance-setting member is analyzed from a starting position to the predetermined forward position. In a camera having a lens shutter and a focal-plane shutter accomplishing the operations of programed exposure and aperture control, a flash photography changeover device includes a first changeover circuit for setting a lens shutter mode for operating the lens shutter as a programed shutter or a focal-plane shutter mode for controlling the shutter speed by the focal-plane shutter and the aperture by the lens shutter; a first driving device for controlling the programed exposure value and/or the aperture value of the lens shutter; a second driving device for controlling the shutter speed of the focal-plane shutter; a sequence control circuit for controlling the operating timings of the two driving devices; a setting circuit for selecting and setting automatic exposures with a natural light and a flash light; and a coercive changeover circuit for setting the lens shutter mode irrespective of the setting of the first changeover circuit when the setting circuit is set to the automatic exposure with the flash light. The setting circuit and the coercive changeover circuit may be replaced by a determining circuit for detecting and determining a limit shutter speed at which the focal-plane shutter is synchronized with the flash light; and a coercive changeover circuit for setting the lens shutter mode irrespective of the setting of the first changeover circuit for setting the shutter mode, when the determining circuit determines that the shutter speed exceeds the limit speed.

A time recorder includes a clock circuit for producing a clock signal, a detector for detecting when a time card is loaded in the time recorder to produce a detection signal, and a correcting circuit for producing a correcting signal effective to correct time information. A printing wheel assembly is rotationally driven to print the time information which is displayed in a display device. A positioning mechanism receives the loaded time card and moves relative to the printing wheel assembly for positioning the loaded time card in a print position relative to the printing wheel assembly. A hammer is opposed to the loaded time card and actuated to act thereon against the printing wheel assembly to thereby print the time information. The display device, printing wheel assembly and positioning mechanism are driven in synchronization with one another to update and correct the displayed time information, the time information to be printed and the position of the time card in response to the clock and correcting signals. The hammer is actuated in response to the detection signal without relative interference with the drive of the printing wheel assembly and positioning mechanism.

A time recorder is normally powered by a main power source for supplying a commercial power and occasionally powered by a back-up power source during interruption of the commercial power supply. A clock means counts time to constantly produce a clock pulse, and a digital display constantly digitally indicates updated time data in response to the clock pulse. An analogue display is driven for analogically indicating time information and a recording mechanism is driven for recording time information on a recording medium. A driving device drives the analog display and recording mechanism in response to the clock pulse to update the time information indicated in the analog display and recorded by the recording mechanism. A detecting device is connected to the main power source for detecting the interruption of the commercial power supply. A controlling device responsive to the detection of the commercial power supply interruption inhibits the operation of the driving device during the commercial power supply interruption so that the driving device suspends the driving of the analog display and recording mechanism to thereby cause a delay of the time information from the updated time data, and operates after recovery of the commercial power supply for controlling the driving device to quickly drive the analog display and recording mechanism to correct for the delay to thereby update the time information.

A timepiece has a second hand, a minute hand and an hour hand which are rotationally driven by a gear train under control of an electromechanical transducer. The transducer has a plastic coil frame on which is wound a coil and electric drive signals are applied to the coil in response to which the transducer produces a rotational output for driving the gear train. A hand stopping device is formed integrally with the coil frame and functions to temporarily stop the rotational movement of the gear train to thereby enable setting or correction of the position of the second hand. The device comprises a flexible arm formed integrally with and projecting from the coil frame, the arm having a manually operated portion in the form of a button which, when actuated, resiliently flexes the arm from an inoperative position to an operative position, and an interlocking portion operable when the arm is flexed to its inoperative position to releaseably interlock with a gear of the gear train to thereby stop the rotational movement of the gear train.

The cam type time detecting mechanism of an alarm clock has a time gear wheel, an alarm gear wheel and a detecting plate, all mounted on a shaft. A hole is formed on either the alarm gear wheel or the detecting plate and a projection is formed on the other. The detecting plate is movable on the shaft in the axial direction of the shaft. The time gear wheel and the detecting plate have guiding parts respectively so that the time gear wheel, in its normal rotation, continuously pushes and turns the detecting plate. At least one of the time gear wheel, the alarm gear wheel and the detecting plate has a cam for lifting up the detecting plate if the time gear wheel and the alarm gear wheel turn either in normal and reverse directions.

In the time detecting device of an alarm clock is provided with an hour gear wheel and an alarm gear wheel, each having an indication hand, engaging with a second hour gear wheel and a second alarm gear wheel respectively. An detecting cam plate is provided so as to be axially shiftable and continuously pushed and turned by the second hour gear wheel. A projection is formed on either the second alarm gear wheel or the detecting cam plate while a hole is formed on the other. When the respective phases of the projection and the hole coincide, the detecting cam plate is allowed to shift to actuate the alarm device.
