A multilayer insulated wire having two or more extrusion-insulating layers provided on a conductor to coat the conductor, wherein at least one layer of the insulating layers is composed of a polyethersulfone resin (i), or a resin mixture (ii) made by blending: 100 parts by weight of a resin (A) of at least one selected from polyetherimide resins and polyethersulfone resins, and 10 parts by weight or more of a resin (B) of at least one selected from polycarbonate resins, polyarylate resins, polyester resins and polyamide resins; and wherein at least one layer other than the insulating layer composed of the resin (i) or resin mixture (ii) is provided as an outer layer to the insulating layer and is composed of a polyphenylenesulfide resin. A transformer can also have the mentioned multi-layered insulated wire.

A platinum (II) complex represented by the general formula: ##STR1## [wherein A's are each ammonia or two A's jointly represent 1,2-diaminocyclohexane, 1-amino-1-aminomethylcyclohexane or 1,4-diamino-2-methylbutane; and B's may be same or different and represent ##STR2## (wherein m is 0, 1 or 2; n is 0 or 1; R.sub.1 is a C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkyl group substituted with one or two hydroxyl groups) or two B's jointly represent ##STR3## (wherein R.sub.2 is a C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 alkyl group substituted with one hydroxyl group)]. These platinum (II) complexes have high potencies for use as an antitumor agent.

Platinum complexes

An alarm device capable of producing an audible as well as a visual alarm is disclosed. The alarm device comprises a gong, a DC motor of a commutator type and a hammer operatively connected to an output shaft of the motor for striking the gong. The alarm device further comprises a high-voltage generating circuit connected to the motor, a flash tube and an exciter circuit for the tube. When a DC power is supplied to the motor to strike the gong by the hammer, the high-voltage circuit generates a high voltage in accordance with a square-wave current which flows through the motor. The exciter circuit is energized by the high voltage and excites the flash tube to thereby produce flashes of light.

Audio and visual alarm device

A motor actuated buzzer includes a motor mounted on a body, at least one cam member fixedly mounted on an output shaft of the motor, a sound generating plate mounted on the body, and a hammer for striking the sound generating plate, the cam having a plurality of radial protrusions. At least one leaf spring is fixed to the body at one end thereof and urged toward the cam member. The leaf spring carries the hammer intermediate opposite ends thereof and having at a free end thereof a projection. The radial protrusions are engageable with the projection upon rotation of the cam member to oscillate the leaf spring to intermittently bring the hammer into striking contact with the sound generating plate to produce a buzzing sound.

A motor actuated bell comprises a crank member operatively connected to a motor drive shaft. An elongated connecting plate is connected at one end thereof to the crank member for being reciprocally moved along its axis. A pivotal lever is connected at one end thereof generally perpendicularly to the other end of said connecting plate for being subjected to swinging movement. A hammer means has a resilient means resiliently supporting a hammer element on the lever.

Motor actuated bell

In a motor actuated bell a cam member is operatively connected to a motor drive shaft. The cam member acts directly on a leaf spring for moving a hammer attached to the leaf spring generally in parallel relation to the axis of rotation of the cam member to thereby allow the hammer to strike against an associated gong.

A motor actuated bell assembly comprises a housing box having a body with an open top and a lid for closing the open top. The motor actuated bell includes a base having an integral support portion on which a gong is mouted. The base is fastened to the box body adjacent to the open top thereof with the motor actuated bell accommodated within the box body.

Gong striking mechanism is provided, which comprises a driving electric motor mounted on a frame within a gong, conversion means rotationally connected directly or indirectly to the motor shaft for converting continuous rotational motion of the motor shaft to reciprocal gong striking motion, and resilient means adapted to absorb impact forces during gong striking motion and disposed intermediately between the motor and a hammer.

Gong striking mechanism

A double gong bell has an outer gong and an inner gong separately arranged to accommodate the inner gong within the space defined by the inner surface of the outer gong. In one embodiment at least two hammer driving members, disposed within the space defined by the inner surface of the outer gong and slidably supported within a mounting means are adapted for reciprocal movement upon the action of a hammer driving means. The ends of the hammer driving members closest to the gongs are attached to a first resilient member and a hammer. A pair of second resilient members attached to the hammer driving members and the mounting means are biased to urge the hammers to strike the inner and outer gongs upon the action of the hammer driving means generating a bell sound having composite tone colors.

Double gong bell

A motor actuated bell comprises a motor having a drive shaft and a cam means connected to the drive shaft. The cam means is engageable with an elongated hammer intermediate the opposite ends thereof to intermittently move the hammer away from a gong against the bias of an urging means. When the cam means becomes disengaged from the hammer, the hammer is moved along its axis into striking contact with the gong under the action of the urging means.

A motor actuated bell which comprises a gong having an extension at a predetermined inner surface thereof; an electric motor having a drive shaft; transmission means for transmitting torque of said electric motor to a slotted ring to impart an angular moment to the ring. The transmission means has a projecting portion formed thereon to engage with the slot of the ring and a hammer for striking said gong at the extrusion of the inner surface in circular movement relation therewith. A connecting member operatively connects said hammer to said slotted ring. The motor actuated bell may preferably be used in a fire bell, an alarm bell or the like.

A motor actuated bell comprising a motor having a drive shaft; transmission means for transmitting the rotational movement of the shaft to a second supporting shaft; a cam member which is fixedly mounted on the second supporting shaft; at least two hammer driving means disposed to be capable of moving reciprocally back and forth in relation to the gong and arranged respectively in continuous contact with the cam surface by a biased force of each first resilient means which is provided to said respective hammer driving means; and a hammer connected to each hammer driving means through a second resilient means so as to transmit the reciprocal movement of said hammer driving means to the hammer thereby striking the gong with the hammer. The motor actuated bell may preferably be used in a fire bell, an alarm bell or the like.

A motor actuated bell comprises a pneumatic actuator. A hammer is operatively associated so as to be movable into striking contact with an associated gong to produce bell sound.

An electrically operated bell comprises an electric drive means and a pivotal lever supporting a hammer means. The lever is operatively connected to the drive means for intermittently moving the hammer means into striking contact with a gong. The lever has a pivot adjusting means by which the fulcrum of the pivotal lever can be varied.
