A tuner module includes an input connector a tuner case, a circuit board, and an auxiliary piece. The auxiliary piece contacts a surface of the tuner case and is fixed to the surface of the tuner case, and part of the auxiliary piece is connected as a ground potential near a contact of a core wire of the input connector with the circuit board.

The present invention provides a receiver that includes a plurality of tuners for receiving broadcasts such as satellite broadcast. A tuner circuit () includes an input terminal () for inputting a broadcast wave in which a video signal and/or an audio signal are modulated in a predetermined format, and a mount layer () on which a main circuit () for selecting, from the broadcast wave, a video signal and/or an audio signal included in a predetermined frequency band is mounted. A receiving apparatus and method which can prevent second order harmonic interference and beat interference in a direct orthogonal detector is disclosed. When a control signal of the high level is inputted to a control terminal, then a first high frequency switch diode is turned on and a second high frequency switch diode is turned off. In this instance, a filter circuit functions as a low-pass filter. When a control signal of a low level is inputted to the control terminal, then the first high frequency switch diode is turned off and the second high frequency switch diode is turned on. In this instance, the filter circuit functions as a high-pass filter.

An oscillation circuit comprises a surface acoustic wave resonance device of the single port type, an active circuit portion with which the surface acoustic wave resonance device is connected so that a signal feedback from the active circuit portion to the surface acoustic wave resonance device is carried out, an inductive element connected substantially in parallel with the surface acoustic wave resonance device, and a damping portion connected with one or both of the inductive element and the surface acoustic wave resonance device for suppressing parasitic oscillations caused by coaction between the inductive element and stray capacitance accompanying the surface acoustic wave resonance device.

Oscillation circuit having an active circuit portion and a surface

An oscillation circuit and an oscillation method for generating a high-frequency signal in which NPN transistors are differentially connected to each other. The signal output from the collector of a first NPN transistor is positively fed back to the base of a second NPN transistor via a first capacitor, and the signal output from the collector of the second NPN transistor is positively fed back to the base of the first NPN transistor via a second capacitor. A one-port-type SAW resonator is connected to the collectors of the NPN transistors via the capacitors for blocking the flow of direct current. Thus, it becomes possible to generate a high-frequency signal with a high degree of accuracy.
