An integrally molded composite article comprised of (I) a nonfoam layer formed from a thermoplastic elastomer powder composition (A) and (II) a foam layer formed from a foamable composition comprised of (i)(B) a thermoplastic synthetic resin powder, and (C) a heat decomposable foaming agent or (ii)(B) a thermoplastic synthetic resin powder, (C) a heat decomposable foaming agent and (D) a liquid coating agent, wherein the thermoplastic elastomer powder (A) is comprised of a composition of an ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer rubber and a polyolefin resin or a thermoplastic elastomer powder comprised of a partially cross-linked composition of an ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer rubber and a polyolefin resin, the thermoplastic elastomer powder having a complex dynamic viscosity .eta.*(1) at 250.degree. An olefinic resin composition which comprises 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic olefin elastomer consisting of a polyolefin resin and an olefinic copolymer rubber and 0.5 to 30 parts by weight of a modified polyolefin obtained by reacting an unsaturated carboxylic acid (anhydride)-modified polyolefin with an aminoalcohol represented by the formula H.sub.2 N--R--OH in which R is an alkylene, arylene or aralkylene group having 18 or less carbon atoms. The olefinic resin composition can give a molded article which can be satisfactorily coated with a coating material without a primer and has excellent heat fusibility to various resin and metals.

A multilayer molded article comprising a body of a thermoplastic resin and a skin material which is laminated on a surface of said body and comprises an olefin thermoplastic elastomer having a complex viscosity (.eta.*) of from 1.0.times.104 to 5.0.times.104 poises at 200.degree. The invention provides an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition which is excellent in flexibility, processability into sheet and appearance of the resulting sheet and which is able to substitute for flexible polyvinyl chloride. The invention further provides a covering material for industrial parts comprising said composition and a laminate comprising said covering material. The composition comprises a partially crosslinked thermoplastic elastomer I containing an oil-extended olefinic copolymer rubber comprising an olefinic copolymer rubber having a Mooney viscosity of 200-350 or the thermoplastic elastomer I and a partially crosslinked thermoplastic elastomer II containing an oil-extended olefinic copolymer rubber comprising an olefinic copolymer rubber having a Mooney viscosity of 120 or higher and lower than 200 and the composition has a specific viscoelastic characteristics.

A blend which comprises a partially crosslinked product of a mixture of an oil-extended olefinic copolymer rubber comprising an olefinic copolymer rubber having a 100.degree. C. Mooney viscosity 150-350, a polyolefin resin, a selectively hydrogenated block copolymer, and a specific mineral oil type softening agent has excellent flexibility of less than 45 in Shore A hardness. An olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition which is excellent in mechanical properties and is substitutable for vulcanized rubbers is provided, which comprises a mixture comprising (A) 40-95 % by weight of an oil-extended olefinic copolymer rubber comprising 100 parts by weight of an olefinic copolymer rubber having a Mooney viscosity (ML.sub.1+4 100.degree. C.) of 150-350 and 20-150 parts by weight of a mineral oil and (B) 5-60% by weight of an olefinic plastic, said mixture being partially crosslinked by dynamic heat treatment in the presence of an organic peroxide. This composition gives superior molded articles free from bleeding of oil on the surface.

Olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition

The present invention provides a thermoplastic elastomer composition excellent in oil resistance. This composition comprises a partially crosslinked mixture of (A) an ethylene copolymer rubber comprising ethylene and an acrylate ester or a methacrylate ester and (B) an olefin polymer and, if necessary, (C) an olefin copolymer rubber.
