This addition reaction curing-type self-adhesive silicone gel composition has a predetermined amount of a specific non-functional organopolysiloxane added thereto, has predetermined amounts of a specific carboxylic acid metal salt and a partial hydrolysis-condensation product of a specific hydrolysable silane added thereto, and can be used to provide a silicone gel cured product that has sufficient adhesiveness to a metal substrate made of copper, aluminum, or the like, that can prevent generation of voids or detachment after adhesion even under high temperature conditions, and that has a high dielectric strength.

Arylene group-containing organopolysiloxane and curable organopolysiloxane composition using same

Provided are: a silicone gel composition providing a silicone gel cured product having excellent heat resistance at high temperatures; and a cured product (silicone gel) thereof. This silicone gel composition is an addition reaction-curable silicone gel composition containing, with respect to the total (mass) of the composition, 1-1,000 ppm of a niobium carboxylate and/or nickel carboxylate represented by the following formula (3).(RCOO)M&#x2003;&#x2003;(3)(In the formula, Ris a homogeneous or heterogeneous monovalent hydrocarbon group, M is at least one metal selected from among nickel and niobium, and f is 2 when M is nickel and 4 or 5 when M is niobium).

Silicone gel composition and silicone gel cured product

A room-temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition contains as essential components (A) an organopolysiloxane shown by the following general formula (1), (B) an alkoxysilane shown by the following general formula (2) or a partial hydrolysate thereof, (C) a silazane compound shown by the following general formula (3), (D) a bismuth compound shown by the following general formula (4) which is in a liquid state at 20&#xb0; C., a partial hydrolysate thereof, or both of them, (E) one or more fillers, and (F) a silane coupling agent having amine structure or imine structure, in which the composition satisfies [component (C)/component (B)&#x2267;1.0]. As a result, a room-temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition has good curability and storage stability even without containing an organotin compound or an organotitanium compound, has safety in view of toxicity to the human body and environment, and exhibits good rubber physical properties and adhesion after curing.

Disclosed is a photocurable organopolysiloxane composition including (A) 100 parts by weight of diorganopolysiloxane having at least two silicon atoms having a hydroxyl group and/or hydrolyzable group attached thereto in one molecule; and (B) 0.1 to 30 parts by weight of a complex compound composed of titanium(meth)acrylate-trialkoxide and &#x3b2;-diketone. It will find use as a sealing agent, adhesive, coating material. It is particularly suitable for micro pars and precision molding on account of its good curability and very little cure shrinkage.

Method for preparing an organopolysiloxane compound and curing composition using the compound

A two-part organopolysiloxane composition is provided. A first part comprises (A) an organopolysiloxane, (B) a ketene silyl acetal compound or 2-methyldialkoxysilylpropionic ester, (C) an organic compound or silane compound having at least one nitrogen atom, (D) a silane compound having at least two alkoxy groups, and (E) another ketene silyl acetal compound or 2-trialkoxysilylpropionic ester. A second part comprises (F) an organopolysiloxane, (G) an organotin catalyst, and (H) water. The first and second parts are mixed to form a sealing composition which is fast curable to the depth with alcohol removal.

An oily surface adhesive room temperature curing type organopolysiloxane composition includes: (A) at least one of organopolysiloxanes represented by specific general formulas; (B) heavy calcium carbonate of which the surfaces have been treated with a fatty acid and/or paraffin treating agent; (C) an oil-absorbing carbon powder; (D) a silane represented by a specific general formula or a partial hydrolyzate; (E) a curing catalyst; and (F) an organic compound having one isocyanate group in its molecule.

The composition has improved chemical resistance.

Magnesium alloy-bonding organopolysiloxane composition having improved chemical resistance

A self-adhesive organopolysiloxane composition is provided comprising (A) an organopolysiloxane containing at least two silicon-bonded alkenyl groups, (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing at least two SiH groups, (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst, and (D) an adhesive component obtained by previously mixing (i) a titanium chelate catalyst and/or a tetraorganoxytitanium and (ii) a silane coupling agent and aging the mixture. The composition cures at room temperature or lower temperature while it is fully adhesive to metal and plastic substrates.

Room temperature curable organopolysiloxane composition and part using the same as adhesive

In a silicone rubber composition of the condensation curing type comprising a diorganopolysiloxane having at least two silicon-attached hydroxyl or hydrolyzable radicals as a base polymer, and a silane having at least two hydrolyzable radicals or a partial hydrolytic condensate thereof, at least 2 mol % of the entire substituent radicals attached to silicon atoms in the diorganopolysiloxane are monovalent hydrocarbon radicals having at least two carbon atoms. The cured composition has excellent non-staining and sealing properties, and when applied as a coating, filled into joints, or used as a solid gasket, it does not cause staining of the building, joints, or the area around joints.
