A flow volume measurement device or a flow velocity measurement device include a measurement cell including a main pipe, an incident tube that is connected to the main pipe, an emission tube that is connected to the main pipe, and a first purge-fluid supply tube that is connected to the incident tube, a purge-fluid supply unit that supplies purge fluid into the first purge-fluid supply tube of the measurement cell, a light emitting unit that emits a laser beam to the measurement cell, a light receiving unit that receives the laser beam emitted from the light emitting unit and having passed through the measurement cell, and outputs a received amount of light as a light reception signal, a calculation unit that calculates a flow volume or a flow velocity of exhaust fluid flowing in the measurement cell, based on a light reception signal output from the light receiving unit.

An object of the present invention is to provide a flue gas purifying device that can efficiently decrease nitrogen oxides in flue gas. This object is solved by including: an exhaust pipe that guides flue gas discharged from a burning appliance; a urea-water injecting unit that injects urea water into the exhaust pipe; a catalytic unit arranged on a downstream side to a position where urea water is injected in a flow direction of flue gas and having a urea SCR catalyst; a first ammonia-concentration measuring unit that measures a concentration of ammonia in flue gas at a measurement position in a region where the catalytic unit is arranged; a second ammonia-concentration measuring unit arranged on a downstream side to the catalytic unit in a flow direction of the flue gas, to measure a concentration of ammonia in the flue gas having passed through the urea SCR catalyst; and a control unit that controls injection of urea water by the urea-water injecting unit based on measurement results acquired by the first and second ammonia-concentration measuring units.

Flue gas purifying device

The combustion controller controls the fuel and air that are supplied to the combustion furnace for burning substances, and addresses the aforementioned object by including: fuel supply unit for supplying fuel and air into the combustion furnace; air supply unit for supplying air into the combustion furnace, the air supply unit being disposed downstream of the fuel supply unit in the direction of flow of combustion air; concentration measuring unit for measuring the concentration of hydrogen sulfide of the combustion air by passing a measurement beam of light through the combustion air at a measurement position downstream of the fuel supply unit in the direction of flow of the combustion air; and control unit for controlling the amount of air supplied from the fuel supply unit based on a measurement result provided by the concentration measuring unit.

Combustion controller

An object of the present invention is to provide a flue gas purifying device that can suppress leakage of ammonia and can efficiently decrease nitrogen oxides in flue gas. The object is achieved by a flue gas purifying device including: an exhaust pipe; a urea-water injecting unit that injects urea water into the exhaust pipe; a catalytic unit that includes a urea SCR catalyst that promotes a reaction between ammonia and nitrogen oxides and a support mechanism that supports the urea SCR catalyst in the exhaust pipe, and is arranged on a downstream side to a position where urea water is injected; a concentration measuring unit arranged on a downstream side to the catalytic unit in a flow direction of flue gas to measure an ammonia concentration in flue gas having passed through the urea SCR catalyst; and a control unit that controls injection of urea water by the urea-water injecting unit based on an ammonia concentration measured by the concentration measuring unit.

Upon a selector operation of a valve such as a four-way selector valve provided in a refrigerating cycle for selecting a channel of fluid, prevention of environmental pollution and energy saving and the like are effectively achieved. A sliding valve is coupled with a piston in a housing of a channel selector valve provided in a refrigerating cycle and the sliding valve moves due to a difference in pressure and so on at both sides of the piston, thereby a channel of fluid is selected. A processing section of a control device is constituted with microcomputers of an indoor and outdoor control sections, while a detecting section of the control device includes temperature sensor, detection means for detecting pressure, detection means for detecting flow rate, detection means for detecting voltage/current, and detection means for detecting frequency. Driving sections of an electrically-driven expansion valve, an indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger and a compressor are means that function in response to execution of control programs so that physical quantity, such as pressure, differential pressure and flow rate in the channel selector valve provided in the refrigerating cycle, and a rate of change in physical quantity, such as a rate of change in pressure, a rate of change in differential pressure and a rate of change in flow rate, are controlled, thereby a channel of the fluid is selected by the channel selector valve.

Channel-switching valve and method of controlling the same, and refrigerating cycle and method of controlling the same

A channel-switching valve is provided. The channel-switching valve comprises: a cylindrical valve housing whose one end is closed by a main valve seat; a low pressure outlet and two connecting holes for connecting the inside and the outside of the valve housing; a high pressure inlet for connecting the inside and the outside of the valve housing; and a connecting groove and a guide groove formed on an end surface of a main vale element which is accommodated in the valve housing. When the main valve element is situated in a first rotation position, one of the connecting holes is connected to the low pressure outlet by the connecting groove while the other one of the connecting holes is connected to the high pressure inlet. When the main valve element is situated in a second rotation position, the other one of the connecting holes is connected to the low pressure outlet by the connecting groove while the one of the connecting holes is connected to the high pressure inlet by the guide groove.

A five-way valve includes a cylindrical valve body. A piston member is employed in one end of the cylindrical valve body to define a high pressure chamber and a first pressure chamber. A defrosting valve is employed in the other end of the cylindrical valve body to define a second pressure chamber. A slider valve member coupled to the piston member is slidably employed within said high pressure chamber into which the high temperature and high pressure refrigerant from the compressor is induced. An electromagnetic valve is connected between both the first and second pressure converting chambers, and the inlet of the compressor. When the electromagnetic valve is energized to communicate the second pressure converting chamber with the inlet of the compressor, resulting in the generation of a pressure difference in the defrosting valve member, the defrosting valve member is actuated to pass the high temperature and high pressure refrigerant in the high pressure chamber to the inlet of the outdoor heat exchanger for the defrosting purpose, while the indoor heat exchanger is operated to heat ambient atmosphere.

Reversible four-way valve for the refrigerating system. It has a cylindrical valve body through which a single piston is adapted to reciprocate slidably. This single piston divides the cylindrical valve body into two chambers. One of the two chambers is used for admitting high pressure gas thereinto whereas the other is assigned for controlling the piston in counteracting the high pressure gas. For this purpose, the piston is formed with a pressure equalizing hole therein to communicate the two chambers with each other while the piston is urged toward the chamber into which the high pressure is admitted. This is done by a compression spring having a force stronger than required to overcome all resistance when both chambers are under the equal pressure. Since the reversible valve has only two chambers, compact design is possible and the operation is stable.

Reversible four-way valve for reversible refrigerating cycle

A reversing valve means for use with a reversible refrigerating cycle system in which a selector valve is actuated by pressure difference in the refrigerant gas and not by any mechanical means such as spring or the like. Said valve means is simple in construction and excellent in durability, enabling sure switchover of a heating cycle to a cooling cycle and vice versa.
