A dielectric heating device includes a first heater, configured to heat and dry the liquid, having first electrode and the second electrode facing a medium on which is deposited a liquid containing water, and a first coil electrically coupled in series with the first electrode, and a voltage application section that applies an AC voltage having a predetermined driving frequency to the first electrode and the second electrode. The first heater is configured such that a difference between a resonant frequency of the first heater and the driving frequency when the water content of the medium is in a first range is smaller than the difference between the resonant frequency of the first heater and the driving frequency when the water content is in a second range smaller than the first range, and a heat amount, when the water content is in the first range, is larger than a heat amount, when the water content is in the second range.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a drying device disposed at a predetermined interval from a recording medium and including a heater configured to dry liquid applied to the recording medium with a high frequency wave. The heater includes a first electrode coupled to a power supply that outputs the high frequency wave and a second electrode coupled to the power supply that outputs the high frequency wave and disposed to be separated from the first electrode at a predetermined interval. The distance between the end of the first electrode and the recording medium is longer compared with the distance between the center of the first electrode and the recording medium.

Provided is a dielectric heating apparatus for heating a first ink and a second ink that adhere to a medium. The first ink contains carbon black, and the second ink does not contain carbon black. An alternating current electric field generation unit includes a first electrode and a second electrode disposed adjacent to each other, a high-frequency voltage generation unit configured to generate a high-frequency voltage to the first electrode and the second electrode, and a conductor configured to electrically couple the first electrode and the second electrode to the high-frequency voltage generation unit. An electronic timepiece has: an antenna having a planar first electrode, a planar second electrode disposed to a position superimposed with the first electrode in plan view when seen from a first direction perpendicular to the first electrode, and a shorting member that shorts the first electrode and second electrode; and a planar conductor disposed in plan view to a position superimposed with the first electrode. The second electrode is disposed between the first electrode and the conductor in a side view from a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a connector electrically connects the second electrode and conductor.
