An information storing disk including at least one system stream stored thereon. The at least one system stream includes a silent cell for defining a silent period and an audio cell for defining audio data to be reproduced after the silent period. The silent period is a period to be silent, which is from when one system stream to be reproduced among at least one system stream is determined until reproduction of an audio cell included in the one system stream is started.

An optical recording apparatus for recording digital signals controls the pulse length of the recorded signals by delaying either the positive-going edges or the negative-going edges of the digital signals. The edges are delayed by either a logical AND or a logical OR operation between an original digital signal and a delayed signal or between an original digital signal and an output signal from a monostable multivibrator which has been triggered by an edge of the original digital signal.

Optical recording apparatus

An angle-modulated signal transmission system comprises first and second filters for filtering signal components from first and second modulation signals supplied thereto. The filters eliminate a certain frequency band which tends to cause interference distortion in transmitted and demodulated signals due to crosstalk produced between first and second angle-modulated signal transmission paths. A mixer mixes the output signals of the first and second filters, with a certain mixing ratio. First and second adders add the signal components of a certain frequency band of the first and second modulation signals, thus mixed and processed by the mixer and the signal components of a frequency band other than the certain band of the first and second modulation signals. First and second angle modulators modulate carriers responsive to the resulting output signals of the first and second adders and send the output angle-modulated signals thereof respectively to the transmission paths.
