A hydraulic detachable coupling, which can transmit rated torque in a manner stable to vibrations, and can fully withstand abnormal torque. For this purpose, in a hydraulic detachable coupling () mounted detachably on a rotor () of a steam or gas turbine or other machine, a coupling sleeve (), which is fitted on a shaft end portion of a casing penetrating shaft () in the rotor (), includes a taper hole portion (-) which is interference-fitted on a taper shaft portion () of the shaft end portion by a hydraulic pressure, and a straight hole portion (-) having teeth () engaging a plurality of teeth () formed in a straight shaft portion () of the shaft end portion, the taper hole portion (-) and the straight hole portion (-) being located adjacent to each other.

Hydraulic detachable coupling

A casing includes an upper casing and a lower casing jointed in a dividable manner, and a sealing structure that suppresses outward leakage of gas from a joint area between the upper casing and the lower casing. The casing 1 also includes: an upper protruding element that protrudes from an outer circumference of the upper casing; a lower protruding element that protrudes from an outer circumference of the lower casing; and an intermediary member that is arranged on outer circumferences of the upper protruding element and the lower protruding element. The joint area between the upper casing and the lower casing is extended by the upper protruding element and the lower protruding element, and the intermediary member is welded to the upper protruding element and the lower protruding element, at a position offset from the joint area.

Casing and fluid machine

A metallic packing is used to seal a connection between steam pipes. The metallic packing has an annular basement. This annular basement has an opening that joins the holes of the steam pipes. Two annular lips project from an inner circumference of the annular basement towards a central axis of the opening. Each annular lip steps away form the other lip, and the distance between free ends of the lips is longer than the width of the annular basement along the direction of the central axis.

A gas turbine blade ring is cooled by steam whose temperature, pressure and flow rate are controlled so that a clearance between a moving blade tip and blade ring is maintained appropriately. Steam from a steam turbine bottoming cycle ( ) flows into a blade ring cooling passage ( ) of a gas turbine ( ) via piping ( ) for cooling the blade ring. The steam, having cooled the blade ring, is supplied into a transition piece cooling passage ( ) of a combustor ( ) for cooling the transition piece, and is then recovered into the steam turbine bottoming cycle ( ) via piping ( ). While the steam cools the blade ring, the temperature, pressure and flow rate of the steam are controlled so that thermal elongation of the blade ring is adjusted and the clearance at the moving blade tip is controlled so as to approach a target value. Thus, the clearance is maintained as small as possible in operation and the gas turbine performance is enhanced.

The invention applies to an air bypass control device which can bypass a portion of the compressed air in the space within the casing into the tail pipe connected to a combustion chamber via a control valve and a bypass channel. The invention includes a valve mechanism including a flat sliding ring, and a valve operating mechanism. The valve mechanism intersects a number of bypass air channels each of which is connected to a pipe located in the space inside the casing. A number of openings are arranged in the flat sliding ring for bypassing the air to the bypass air channels. The valve operating mechanism, one end of which is connected to the flat sliding ring, causes the flat sliding ring to rotate back and forth. When the operating mechanism rotates the flat sliding ring, the openings in the flat sliding ring rotate so as to coincide with or move away from the openings of the bypass channels. The control valve mechanism is made up of a flat sliding ring with a number of openings which corresponds to the number of bypass channels, and a ring supporting base which supports the flat sliding ring in such a way that the flat sliding ring can slide freely in the circumferential direction. One side of the openings of the flat sliding ring opens into the space in the casing, and the other side of the openings opens into the opening of the bypass channel when it is rotated.

A rotor shaft that is supported by a deep groove ball bearing a radial load and a unidirectional thrust load, and by a cylindrical roller bearing for bearing a radial load. Also, a pretension applying means is provided for applying a pretension to the rotor shaft in the same direction as the thrust load which is borne by the deep groove ball bearing.

A vibration reducer for a diaphragm coupling is capable of suppressing axial vibrations as well as torsional vibrations. A diaphragm pack 3 is mounted between a diaphragm mount flange 2 provided on an intermediate shaft 1 serving as a drive shaft and a shaft flange 4 of another shaft serving as a driven shaft. An elastic arm 5 extends through the diaphragm pack 3 and is mounted to the diaphragm mount flange 2. The elastic arm 5 is a cylindrical member, whose circumferential portion is severed by slits formed by wire-cutting. Free ends 5a of the elastic arm 5 are expanded in the radial directions by centrifugal forces caused by rotation of a shafts and come into pressure-contact with the liner member 8 formed integrally within a cylindrical portion 7 of the shaft flange 4. A part of a torque is thereby transmitted via the pressure-contact portion, and rigidity in the axial direction of the elastic arm 5 is added to that of the diaphragm pack 3 to suppress vibrations. An alternative construction has a large pressure-contact force caused by centrifugal forces realized by making use of centrifugal weights 22, a centrifugal weight holder 23, and an elongated bolt 24.
