A stator includes a bracket having a shaft bearing portion at a center, a stator base including a flexible printed wiring board outwardly attached to the shaft bearing portion, single-phase air-armature coils disposed on the stator base, and a drive circuit member disposed on the stator base so as not to overlap with the single-phase air-core armature coils. The bracket has a through hole at the section corresponding to the bottom of the drive circuit member. The stator base is embedded at least partly in the thickness direction in the through hole and fixed using a resin, and a detent torque generation member is contained in, and is no thicker than, the stator base.

An eccentric rotor equipped with a fan is included in an axial gap micro-fan motor for generating vibrations and cooling. The rotor has a first impeller section having a low specific gravity and a second impeller section having a high specific gravity. Each fan comprises a flat section at an upper surface of an axial gap magnet and an impeller section at a side of the magnet. The fans are assembled by concave-convex mating sections at the flat sections and are also bonded to and held by the axial gap magnet. Impeller blades of the fans are optionally formed as backward vanes.

A stator has a stator base including a printed circuit board provided on a nonmagnetic or weakly magnetic bracket having a shaft support section disposed in the center thereof, a single-phase connected air-cored armature coil provided on the stator base, and a drive circuit member provided on the stator base so as not to overlap the air-cored armature coil. The stator base has a groove hole extending outwardly from a central through hole. A detent torque section extending radially from the center of a detent torque generating member composed of a magnetic body and provided around the shaft support section is accommodated in the groove hole so as to be confined in the stator base in the thickness direction thereof.

Stator and axial-gap brushless vibration motor incorporating the stator

An axial air-gap rotor includes wound air-core armature coils disposed on one side of a printed wiring board, and a cylindrical commutator disposed at the rotation center. The commutator includes commutator pieces separated from each other by positioning guides provided on the base, and each having a connection terminal integral with and extending axially from an arc-shaped sliding contact portion and flat portion, the printed wiring board further having terminal connection lands for the wound air-core armature coils, and through holes connected to the terminal connection lands in which the distal ends of the connection terminals are fitted and connected on the other side.

Axial air-gap rotor and axial air-gap coreless motor equipped with the same

An axial-air-gap brushless vibration motor has an eccentric rotor R in which an axial-air-gap magnet and an arched weight are provided in a rotor yoke which is rotatably mounted on a shaft fixed to a yoke bracket. A stator base is attached to the yoke bracket which includes a magnetic portion receiving the magnetic field of the magnet and a nonmagnetic portion. One Hall sensor and a drive circuit member for receiving output of the Hall sensor are disposed so that they do not overlap on a radial plane, of the stator base which has single-phase air-core armature coils installed. A cover member is welded to the yoke bracket.

Axial-air-gap brushless vibration motor containing drive circuit

A vibration motor has an eccentric rotor having a plurality of armature coils with at least one winding-type air core armature coil disposed in an eccentric manner on a printed wiring board. A commutator is disposed on the printed wiring board. An eccentric weight is disposed so as not to overlap with at least one winding-type air-core armature coil and at least two of the air-core armature coils overlap. A magnet imparts a magnet field to the eccentric rotor via an axial air gap, a brush that imparts electric power to the air-core armature coils via the commutator.

Axial air-gap vibration motor

An eccentric rotor wherein a printed wiring board in which commutator segments are formed at a first surface, two wound air-cored coils arranged with a prescribed arrangement angle about the shaft as a center at the second surface of the printed wiring board, and a weight are integrally molded into a disk-like shape with a resin by injection molding. The weight comprises a first surface of the weight which is exposed at the side surface of the rotor together with the first surface of the printed wiring board and a second surface of the weight which is exposed at the other surface of the rotor together with the wound air-cored coil. The resin which integrates the aforementioned components and forms an outer peripheral resin portion having a circular-arc periphery about the shaft as a center. The outer contours of the weight and printed wiring board are so formed as to assume positions separated from the outer periphery inwardly in a circular-arc portion. In the circular-arc portion at the outer periphery of the rotor, a continuous circular-arc protrusion covering the first surface of the weight and the first surface of the printed wiring board at one surface side of the rotor is formed integrally with the outer peripheral resin portion.

Eccentric rotor and a vibrating motor using the same

Motors are made thinner than conventional by adding a contrivance to a bracket. A housing composed of a case and a bracket is provided and an eccentric rotor and ring magnet are in the housing. A pair of brushes are provided with their base ends thereof anchored to a flexible base at the inside diameter of the magnet. The aforementioned flexible base leads to the outer periphery of the housing as a power-supply terminal, and an opening is provided in the part where the magnet is disposed in the housing. The flexible base leads to a side of the housing through the opening.

The present invention provides a disc-shaped eccentric rotor having at least two air-core coils. The rotor includes a flat commutator member having a central shaft insertion through hole, commutator land segments arranged around the shaft insertion through hole on a first side of the flat commutator member, wound air-core coil arrangement guides located around the shaft insertion through hole on a second side of the flat commutator member, air-core coil end portion connection lands arranged circumferentially on the second side of the flat commutator member, a shaft holder installed around the shaft insertion through hole on the second side of the flat commutator member, and wound air-core coils installed at the wound air-core coil arrangement guides and having end portions connected to the air-core coil end portion connection lands. The air-core coils of bigger sizes are uniformly arranged on the commutator member, so that high efficiency and easy Installation can be achieved. The arrangement of the air-core coils offsets the center of gravity from the geometrical centroid of the rotor, and there is no need for an additional eccentric member. Since the printed wiring air-core coil is thinner than the wound air-core coil, an eccentric weight is installed on the printed wiring air-core coil so that a great amount of vibration may be obtained during rotation of the rotor.

Disc-shaped eccentric rotor and flat type vibrator motor having the rotor

A compact flat type vibrator motor is provided in which movement of the center is secured in the commutator itself, an additional eccentric member does not need to be provided, and the number of parts are reduced, so that mass production thereof is possible. The commutator pieces are formed in a commutator base member including a printed wiring board to which a high density resin of a specific gravity of 3 or more is added. Simultaneously, a shaft receiving portion is formed at the central portion of the commutator base member. At least a high density resin portion is made eccentric so that an eccentric rotor is formed.

An eccentric rotor includes an eccentric printed wiring commutator device having first and second surfaces, an expanded fan shape when viewed in a plane, a central hole for shaft installation, and a plurality of segment patterns at a periphery of the first surface; a wound, non-molded air-core armature coil incorporated in an air-core armature coil position determination guide protruding from and eccentric at the second surface of the printed wiring commutator device; an end connection portion located at an outer circumferential portion of the printed wiring commutator device for latching an end portion of the wound armature coil within a range not deviating from a turning circumference and simultaneous electrical connection with the segment patterns is possible, and not overlapping the wound armature coil when viewed in a plane; a resin bearing holder inserted in the shaft installation hole with a first part protruding toward the segment pattern and, simultaneously, a second part extending toward the second surface of the printed wiring commutator device; and a resin eccentric weight having a density exceeding 3 installed at a fan-like arc-shaped portion of the printed wiring commutator device. A vibrator motor includes the eccentric rotor, a housing accommodating the eccentric rotor, and a magnet for applying a magnetic force to the eccentric rotor.

Eccentric rotor and vibrator motor incorporating the rotor

A non-circular flat motor in which terminal portions are installed at dead spaces and a manufacturing method. The motor can be easily held by a transferring apparatus and automatically mounted. The feeder terminal is easily reflow soldered. A rotor and a housing supporting the rotor are non-circular when in a plane perpendicular to the rotor axis. Feeder terminals or installation terminals are arranged at corners of surfaces of the housing. At least one feeder terminal is insulated from other portions of the housing. The corners may be concave so that each of the terminals does not protrude beyond the housing. Each of the terminals is easily reflow-soldered and exposed at the side of the housing.
