A storage apparatus includes a storage shelf that stores a container, a purge device that is provided to the storage shelf and is able to perform a purge process on the container, and a purge determiner that determines at least one of a necessity of the purge process and a condition of the purge process in accordance with at least one of a transport source of the container to the storage shelf and a transport destination of the container from the storage shelf.

Storage apparatus and storage method

A load port device conveys a container including a gas port to an outer conveyor unit by using a ceiling transportation vehicle. The load port device includes a conveyor, a purging device, and a stocker controller. The conveyor extends to the outer conveyor unit. The purging device is arranged near the outer conveyor unit, and includes a gas supply nozzle to supply purge gas into the container while connected to the gas port, and a first lifting mechanism that moves the gas supply nozzle toward or away from a gas supply port. The stocker controller controls the purging device to supply the purge gas into the container, and to stop supplying the purge gas into the container based on an arrival of the ceiling transportation vehicle to the outer conveyor unit.

Load port device, transport system, and container carrying out method

Upon receiving first data, a stop control unit () performs control such that a transportation vehicle () stops at a first stop position at which the transportation vehicle () can load the article onto a second apparatus. Upon receiving second data, the stop control unit () performs control such that the transportation vehicle () stops at a second stop position corresponding to a first apparatus.
