An inductor component contains a drum magnetic core made of a magnetic material having a structure including integrated flanges at both ends of a columnar material, a coil wound around the columnar material in the drum magnetic core and placed between the flanges, and a permanent magnet placed in the neighborhood of the drum magnetic core with the coil wound around. This inductor component contains a sleeve core fitted to the outside of the drum magnetic core. The permanent magnet is placed in at least one gap in a closed magnetic circuit formed with the drum magnetic core and the sleeve core in order to apply a direct-current magnetic field in the direction opposite to the direction of a magnetic field generated by a magnetomotive force due to the coil.

An electromagnetic interference suppressing body is provided for suppressing electromagnetic interference by undesirable electromagnetic waves. The body includes a conductive support element and a non-conductive soft magnetic layer provided on at least one surface. The electromagnetic interference suppressing body may be used in an electronic equipment comprising a circuit board and an active element mounted on the circuit board, and is interposed between the circuit board and the active element so as to suppress the interference by an induction noise generated from the active element. The electromagnetic interference suppressing body may also be used in a hybrid integrated circuit element having an active element and a passive element mounted on a circuit board. The hybrid integrated circuit element is covered with and sealed by a non-conductive layer and the electromagnetic interference suppressing body overlying an outer surface of the non-conductive layer.

A method is disclosed for producing a rare earth metal-transition metal-boron (R-T-B) bonded magnet with a magnetic anisotropy. R-T-B alloy ribbons and/or ribbon-like flakes containing R.sub.2 T.sub.14 B fine crystals are prepared with a thickness of 20-1,000 .mu.m by rapidly-quenching method. The ribbons and/or flakes are crushed and ground into a magnetic powder of particle sizes smaller than the value of the ribbon thickness. The magnetic powder is mixed with binder agent and formed into desired bulk-shape body in an aligning magnetic field to produce the bonded magnet with the magnetic anisotropy. In order to improve the magnetic properties, the ribbons and/or flakes can be heat-treated at a temperature of 650.degree.-950.degree. C. The magnetic powder can also be teat-treated at a temperature of 500.degree.-700.degree. C.

Method for producing a rare earth metal-iron-boron anisotropic bonded

In a method for producing a rare earth metal-iron-boron (R-Fe-B) anisotropic sintered magnet from R-Fe-B alloy ribbon-like flakes, each flake is formed with a thickness of about 20-500 .mu.m and contains R.sub.2 Fe.sub.14 B crystal grains dispersed in the flake with an average grain size of 10 .mu.m or less. The flakes are ground into a powder having an average particle size less than the thickness value of the flake. The powder is magnetically aligned and compacted into a compact body which is then sintered. Thus, the anisotropic sintered magnet is obtained with a high energy product and a high anti-corrosion property. The ribbon-like flakes are prepared by the continuous splat-quenching method. Alternatively, the flakes can be prepared by spraying the molten R-Fe-B alloy in a form of particles and cooling the particles on a cooling plate into flat small pieces.
