An object is to shorten the printing time of an inkjet printer capable of forming a plurality of ink layers on a medium. An inkjet printer () includes an ink head unit () for ejecting ink toward a medium (M); a moving mechanism () for moving the ink head unit () in a left-right direction; a transfer mechanism () for transferring the medium (M) in a forward-rearward direction; and a control device (). The control device () performs first printing of causing the ink head unit () to eject the ink while sequentially transferring the medium (M) forward and second printing of causing the ink head unit () to eject the ink while sequentially transferring the medium (M) rearward.

The inkjet apparatus includes a recording head configured to eject an ink on a recording medium, an ink curing device configured to cure the ink ejected on the recording medium, a moving device configured to move the recording medium in a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction, a control device configured to control the recording head, the ink curing device, and the moving device.
