Portable vibrating sander

This disclosure relates to a massage arrangement of the pneumatic type comprising a mat body provided with a plurality of juxtaposed air chambers, said mat body being subjected over the entire or local surface to repeated rhythmic wave motions involving expansion and contraction by repeating a successon of feeding and discharging of compressed air into and from said air chambers, whereby effective and stable massage is applied not only to the waist and back regions but also the neck and shoulder regions.

Massage arrangement of the pneumatic type

A pneumatic massage mat comprises a plurality of juxtaposed air chambers which are expanded and contracted in given sequence by sequentially feeding and bleeding air under pressure into and out of the respective chambers. The air space of each said air chamber is narrowed in the width direction at a substantially central portion and opposed end portions with respect to the longitudinal direction of the chamber such that these narrow portions are filled with a smaller volume of air than the remaining portions.

A bubble generator is comprised of a bubble plate and an adjuster plate slidably coupled to each other, the former being provided with parallel small bubble holes rows and the latter with parallel small slot rows, large slot rows and large bubble hole rows. Mutual sliding between the plates allows three different modes of bubble generation at user's free choice.

A bubble wash unit is provided with a wash basin for filling water, a stand assembly disposed to the bottom of the wash basin via bayonet coupling, and a bubble assembly disposed to the wash basin via snap coupling while astriding the upper edge of the wash basin in order to pneumatically connect an easily disassembable bubble disc placed on the inside bottom of the wash basin to a compressor suspensibly held within the stand assembly. Easily disassembable construction via bayonet or snap coupling enables complete protection of the compressor against wetting, easy transportation and handling of the unit, and easy replacement and/or cleaning of mechanical elements. A suspensible support successfully damps vibration of the compressor.

Bubble wash unit

A massage machine has a massage head pneumatically driven for high frequency vibration and a liquid reservoir from which liquid, e.g. hair liquid, is forcibly discharged by simple finger action for dispersion through the massage head nose concurrently with the massage action. Uncomfortable noise trouble caused by air discharge is minimized by forcing the drive air to undergo repeated volume changes during the discharge thereof through the machine.
