An object is to suppress a decrease in reliability due to peeling of an insulating layer and another member of a power semiconductor device. A power semiconductor device according to the present invention includes: a power semiconductor element; a conductor portion that transmits a current to the power semiconductor element; an insulating layer in contact with a surface of the conductor portion on a side opposite to a side on which the power semiconductor element is arranged; a metallic heat dissipating portion that opposes the conductor portion while sandwiching the insulating layer; and an output terminal that is connected to the conductor layer and outputs a different signal depending on a contact state of the insulating portion, the insulating layer having an insulating portion and a conductor layer sandwiched between the conductor portion and the metallic heat dissipating portion via the insulating portion.

A reactor according to the present invention includes a plate bus bar, a core, and a heat sink. The core includes a middle leg portion. The heat sink cools the plate bus bar. The plate bus bar is formed such that a winding axis of a winding including the plate bus bar passes through the middle leg portion. A main surface of the plate bus bar is disposed in parallel with a direction of the winding axis and thermally connected to the heat sink via an insulating layer.

The secondary winding is wound such that a winding axial line of the first primary winding and a winding axial line of the second primary winding are formed on an inner peripheral side of the secondary winding.

If an input voltage of a DC/DC converter is lower than a first voltage value that is set in advance, a converter controller maintains an output voltage of the DC/DC converter within a first voltage range that is set in advance by changing an operation frequency of switching of the DC/DC converter in compliance with the input voltage as a first voltage maintaining control. If the input voltage is higher than a second voltage value that is higher than the first voltage value, the converter controller maintains the output voltage within a second voltage range that is higher than the first voltage range by changing the operation frequency in compliance with the input voltage as a second voltage maintaining control.

Reduction in size and weight of transformer for grid tie applications is demanded and can be achieved by applying SST to the transformer. However, SST application to PCS for sunlight requires the following: handle a wide variation range of the voltage of solar power generation; reduce switching losses of power devices, DC/DC converter and inverter, in the power circuit to implement high frequency for SST application; increase voltage to the grid voltage; and reduce the dimensions of the high current path prior to step-up. Thus, LLC resonant converter configuration is applied with an inverter placed in the output, and series connected configuration is applied to the inverter. The LLC resonant converter is subject to constant frequency regulation with large output, step-up control with low output, and step-down control with the upper limit voltage according to MPPT voltage from sunlight, in order to achieve drive loss reduction and voltage range handling.

Power conversion device and power conversion control method for the same

In a DC-DC converter, the cooling of switching elements has been performed only by means of a cooling plate; therefore, there is a problem in that, to effectively radiate heats generated by power MOSFETs that have large heating values and that are arranged parallel, it becomes necessary to reduce thermal resistances and complicate the cooling route of a water-cooling device. Plural switching elements for controlling currents flowing through inductor elements, which are used for voltage conversion of a DC-DC converter, are fixed to a metal case via a heat conductive insulating material and via a metal radiator having a better heat conduction characteristic than the metal case. Because there occur no large mixing phenomena of heat currents among neighboring switching elements, and there are only little heat interferences between the neighboring switching elements, the thermal diffusion characteristic is improved, and the cooling efficiency for the switching elements can be increased.

DC-DC converter and power conversion apparatus

A brushless motor system which can suppress adverse influences of electromagnetic noise without increasing the size and enhancing the performance of a filter circuit. In a brushless motor system comprising a brushless motor, an inverter, and a direct current power source, a noise return line for returning a noise current is connected between the brushless motor and the inverter. The noise current is generated in the inverter and reaches the brushless motor. With the provision of the noise return line, a common mode current leaking from the brushless motor to a ground can be reduced.
