A fuel cap includes a communication chamber configured to make a charge path and the inside of the fuel tank communicate with each other while in a closed state. The communication chamber includes: a positive pressure control valve configured to open, and send evaporated fuel, which occurs inside the fuel tank, to an evaporated fuel reservoir via the communication chamber and the charge path when the internal pressure of the fuel tank becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined pressure; and a negative pressure control valve configured to open, and send air from the evaporated fuel reservoir to the fuel tank via the communication chamber and the charge path when the internal pressure of the fuel tank becomes equal to or less than the predetermined pressure. In addition, a key cylinder sets the negative pressure control valve open upon inserting a key into the key cylinder.

Evaporated fuel handling apparatus

An evaporated fuel treatment device for a vehicle is provided to suppress the flowout of evaporated fuel into atmospheric air. In the evaporated fuel treatment device, a communication chamber is formed in a fuel supply cap, allowing communication between a charge passage and the inside of a fuel tank in a closed state. In the communication chamber, a positive pressure adjusting valve is openable to supply evaporated fuel in the fuel tank to an evaporated fuel storage unit through the communication chamber and the charge passage, and a negative pressure adjusting valve is openable to supply atmospheric air to the fuel tank from the evaporated fuel storage unit through the communication chamber and the charge passage. An interlocking member is provided between the key cover and the negative pressure adjusting valve, and opens the negative pressure adjusting valve in an interlocking manner with an operation of opening the key cover.

Evaporated fuel treatment device for vehicle

A mount structure for a two-way valve for a fuel tank of a small boat for improving mountability of the two-way valve while ensuring strength of the deck. The interior space of the boat, which is formed of a hull and a deck, is provided with an engine, a fuel tank, and a duct. One end of the duct is attached to the wall surface of the deck with a mount member. The two-way valve is connected to the breather hose of the fuel tank, and attached to the mount member at one end of the duct from the interior space of the boat. The mount member is integrally provided with a mount pipe for the tube which opens the two-way valve outside the deck.

A drive shaft supporting structure for a small boat is provided which permits simplification of a hull and for which manufacturing productivity is increased. The drive shaft supporting structure includes a shaft-supporting member for rotatably supporting a drive shaft inside of a hull, and an elongate cylindrical sleeve. The cylindrical sleeve is arranged between the shaft-supporting member and a hull opening which permits penetration of the drive shaft through the hull. The drive shaft supporting structure is configured in such a manner that a front end portion of the cylindrical sleeve is connected to the shaft-supporting member and a rear end portion of the cylindrical sleeve is connected to the hull opening.

A trim adjusting device for a surface boat is provided that includes a nozzle for projecting jet water rearward arranged rearwardly of a jet propeller arranged in a boat body; a nozzle drive mechanism connected to the nozzle for operating the nozzle upward or downward; and an operating means arranged on a handle being connected to the nozzle drive mechanism. The nozzle drive mechanism includes a lever member connected to a trim operation lever of the operating means, a cam member provided with an engaging portion that engages the lever member arranged so as to be capable of rotating freely, a reverse rotation preventing claw member that engages the engaging portion, a link member that comes into abutment with the cam member at one end thereof, and the nozzle connected to the other end of the link member.

A cable supporting structure for facilitating the operation of mounting a cable to a boat. The cable includes a cable inner, a cable outer for surrounding the cable inner, and a stepped portion provided on the cable outer. The cable supporting structure includes a bracket mounted to the boat and having a U-shaped groove for storing the cable outer. The U-shaped groove of the bracket extends horizontally or obliquely downward toward the inner side. A holder including U-shaped grooves that fit the stepped portions of the cable for clamping the cable outer is mounted to the bracket.

An engine intake structure for a small boat arranged in a comparatively small space. The structure includes an intake box having an upper intake section facing one or more intake ports, and a lower intake section extending downwards from the upper intake section. The upper intake section and the lower intake section are partitioned by a mesh member. An air cleaner element is arranged in an extension section of the lower intake section, so that, after external air flows into the lower intake section via the air cleaner element, the air flows to the upper intake section, and then into the intake ports.

A steering device for a personal watercraft includes a handle holder fitted to a watercraft body. A steering shaft passes through the handle holder, and a handle is fitted to the upper end of the steering shaft. The steering shaft is provided with a groove, and a holding member is provided in the handle holder and is fitted into the groove. Accordingly, movement of the steering shaft in the axial direction is restricted. A flange or the groove has a shape such that its width can be reduced. When the holding member is fitted by setting the width to a small size, and taking dimensional variations into account, the chattering between the flange or the groove and the holding member can be reduced. In view of this, the steering shaft is provided with the flange or the groove, and the holding member provided in the handle holder is fitted to the flange or the groove, so that movement of the steering shaft in the axial direction can be restrained. As a result, a steering device enhanced in feeling during operation can be realized.

A personal watercraft includes an inner lid attached in covering relation over a rear portion opening provided in a deck of the personal watercraft, in which a rear edge of the rear portion opening is pressed by a locking member disposed in a locking position thereof to assure the air-tightness of the inner lid, and a rear cover 48 is provided in covering relation over the inner lid. A projection is provided integrally on the locking member which allows attachment of the rear cover when the locking member is in the locked position, but blocks attachment of the rear cover by being sandwiched between the deck and the rear cover, when the locking member is at an unlocked position thereof. A torsion spring (biasing member) which biases the locking member toward the unlocked position is provided between the locking member and the deck. The attaching structure prevents the inner lid from being not attached inadvertently.

Even if the surface of the grip face member includes fine detail work, injection molding can effectively transfer such detail from a metal mold into the finished part. Accordingly, the grip face member can be made to include fine detail work.

A personal watercraft deck structure includes a deck, a rear portion opening provided continuously to the rear of a seat underlying opening in the deck, and a bridge member is removably attached at a boundary between the seat underlying opening and the rear portion opening (or at the rear portion opening). A rear portion of a seat is supported by the bridge member, while the rear portion opening is operatively closed with a rear cover. When maintenance of an engine and other equipment disposed within the deck structure is to be performed, the bridge member may be removed. As a result, the seat underlying opening and the rear portion opening are connected to each other and fully exposed, and therefore, a large opening can be obtained for facilitating maintenance of the engine and other equipment.

Deck structure for a personal watercraft

A fuel tank for a personal watercraft of the type in which a main body portion of the fuel tank is disposed in a watercraft body. An oil supply port member of the fuel tank is provided at a deck constituting an upper portion of the watercraft body. The main body portion and the oil supply port member are connected to each other by a filler hose. The oil supply port member is closed with an oil supply cap. The oil supply port member includes a cylindrical passage provided with an oil supply port at one end thereof and with a hose connection portion at the other end thereof. A stopper for receiving the tip end of an oil supply nozzle is provided at an intermediate portion of the passage. The supply nozzle for re-supplying the fuel can be prevented from penetrating into the main body portion to a needlessly large extent. As a result, the main body portion of the fuel tank can be prevented from suffering scratches or the like.

Fuel tank for personal watercraft

A piping joint includes a male member or joint fastened to a female member or socket by locking pawls of a retainer sleeve onto pawl engaging portions. By pressing a flange by the tip ends of the pawls, the male member (joint) can be disengaged from the female member (socket) by reducing the diameter of the retainer sleeve and disengaging the pawls from the pawl engaging portions. A ring member is formed of an elastic material and is inserted between the retainer sleeve and a cylinder portion in a locked condition. A reduction of the diameter of the retainer sleeve is prevented by the presence of the ring member. Therefore, the connecting or detaching of the piping joint can be carried out in a condition where a holding force of the piping joint is maintained.
