Embodiments disclosed herein provide an apparatus to enable smooth and safe assembly of functional modules to computer chassis. The apparatus includes a chassis and a pair of racks mounted to the chassis. Each rack has a plurality of gear teeth formed thereon. A module having a housing is slidably coupled to the chassis and disposed between the pair of racks. A pair of gear pinions are rotatably mounted to the housing and meshed to the gear teeth of one of the racks. A damping member is coupled between each gear pinion and the housing. A sliding movement of the housing relative to the chassis rotates the pair of gear pinions to roll over along the gear teeth. During the sliding movement of the housing, the damping member exerts a resistance force against the housing, to reduce the movement speed of the housing.

Computing system, apparatus and electrical components thereof

An electronic apparatus includes a casing, a vent structure on the casing, and an electronic device inside the casing. The vent structure is used for a unidirectional flow and includes a frame and a louver. The louver includes a sheet body and a shaft. The sheet body includes a bent portion, a first and a second portion which oppositely extend from the bent portion and bind together. The shaft passes through a through hole formed by the bent portion and is connected to the frame, so that the sheet body is rotatable. When the louver is located at a closed position, the sheet body covers at least a portion of an opening structure of the frame. The louver is structurally simple and can be made of light material, which is conducive to improving the rotation agility of the louver and reducing the noise probably produced when in operation.

A electronic device includes a chassis, a panel, a cover and a security structure. The panel covers a side of the chassis. The cover covers another side of the chassis. The security structure includes a locking component, a positioning component and a linking shaft. The locking component is disposed on the panel and interfered with the chassis to lock the panel. The positioning component is disposed on the cover and interfered with the chassis to position the cover. The linking shaft is disposed between the locking component and the positioning component and stops the positioning component from being separated from the chassis. When a position of the locking component is adjusted to release the interference between the locking component and the chassis, the linking shaft is driven by the locking component to release the positioning component and move along a direction away the panel.

A case includes a housing, a cover and a switch module with a secure mechanism. The case has an accommodation portion. The cover is disposed on the case to have a cover position. The cover covers the accommodation portion. The switch module including a pressing switch and a switch-changing element is located in the accommodation portion and connected to the housing. The switch-changing includes a first pivot part, a pressing part, and a stop part. The first pivot part pivots the housing. The pressing part and the stop part jut from the first pivot part along different radial directions. The switch-changing element has a test position and a non-test position for rotating relative to the housing. When the switch-changing element locates at the test position, a position of the position of the stop part overlaps the cover position.

A electronic device includes a chassis, a panel, a cover and a security structure. The panel covers a side of the chassis. The cover covers another side of the chassis. The security structure includes a locking component, a positioning component and a linking shaft. The locking component is disposed on the panel and interfered with the chassis to lock the panel. The positioning component is disposed on the cover and interfered with the chassis to position the cover. The linking shaft is disposed between the locking component and the positioning component and stops the positioning component from being separated from the chassis. When a position of the locking component is adjusted to release the interference between the locking component and the chassis, the linking shaft is driven by the locking component to release the positioning component.

A panel fixing mechanism includes a supporting component for supporting a side of a panel, a positioning structure passing through the supporting component for engaging inside a hole on the panel so as to guide a connector to insert into a socket of the panel, and a hook structure for supporting another side of the panel and wedging into a slot on the panel in a movable manner.

The panel positioning mechanism further includes a loading component disposed on a side of the supporting component, a rotational spring set connected to the supporting component and the loading component, a fixing component set for fixing the supporting component, the loading component, and the rotational spring set, a contacting component connected to the loading component and disposed inside the slot in a slidable manner so as to constrain rotation of the loading component within a first range, and a releasing component passing through the loading component and fixed on the contacting component for driving a contacting portion of the contacting component to separate from the slot on the supporting component, so that the loading component can rotate outside the first range.

A strap mechanism for drawing an electronic device from a cage in a first direction is disclosed. The strap mechanism includes a first rail. The first rail includes a first locking part for connecting with a lateral surface of the electronic device and disposed inside the cage in a slidable manner, and a first handle part connected to an end of the first locking part. A first slot is formed on the first handle part. The strap mechanism further includes a strap. A first end of the elastic strap is inserted inside the first slot. The strap is for contacting against the first handle part so as to provide a component force in the first direction and in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction to the first handle part when a deformation of the elastic strap is generated by being pulled in the first direction.

A computer component securing device includes a rack and a pair of rail assemblies. The rail assemblies are mounted respectively on two sides of a computer component and are disposed on the rack. Each rail assembly includes a rail and a handle pivoted to a front end of the rail. The handle is disposed to facilitate manipulation by a user. By turning the handle pivotally relative to the rail about an angle, a portion of the rail is urged in a direction away from the computer component to interferingly engage the rack so as to position the computer component in the rack.

A hard disk device includes a hard disk having two opposite first sides, a second side interconnecting the first sides, and two corner portions defined by the first and second sides, and a slide rail mechanism including two first plates to be disposed slidably in a housing, and a second plate. Each first plate has a first section connected to the second plate, and a second section connected to the first section. The first section is spaced apart from the respective first side and is provided with a first support element for abutting against the corresponding corner portion. The second section abuts against the corresponding first side and is provided with positioning pins for engaging positioning holes in the corresponding first side. The second plate is spaced apart from the second side and is provided with second support elements for abutting against the second side.

An adjustable shifting structure is disclosed. The adjustable shifting structure comprises a base bracket, a movable bracket, a fixture element, and an adjustment element. The movable bracket is movably connected to the base bracket. The fixture element is disposed on the base bracket. The movable bracket is gripped by the fixture element and the base bracket to limit the moving direction of the movable bracket. The adjustment element extends through the base bracket, the movable bracket and the fixture element. The movable bracket may be moved by adjusting the adjustment element to apply force on the fixture element.
