A displacement sensing device is configured for a peritoneal dialysis system. The peritoneal dialysis system includes a housing and a syringe. The syringe is disposed on the housing and has a push rod. The displacement sensing device includes a guide rod, a probing module, and a resistance scale. The guide rod is coupled to the push rod, and the probing module is disposed in the housing and is fixed at the guide rod. The resistance scale is disposed at a side of the probing module. The probing module is configured to contact the resistance scale to obtain a resistance value of the resistance scale and determine a displacement magnitude of the push rod. In addition, a peritoneal dialysis system is also mentioned.

In one aspect of the disclosure, an intramedullary (IM) apparatus for treating a fractured bone of an animal includes an IM nail elongated along a longitudinal axis and having at least three locking holes equally distantly defined thereon along the longitudinal axis, and a positional reference member having a longitudinal vernier scale thereon. The IM nail is configured to be inserted to a medullary cavity of a bone fragment, such that the IM nail is fixable to the bone fragment by a locking member correspondingly inserted into one of the locking holes through the bone fragment. The positional reference member is configured to be detachably mounted to the IM nail by two positioning members inserted into two of the locking holes such that the longitudinal vernier scale is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the IM nail, and each of the locking holes is locatable by the longitudinal vernier scale.

Intramedullary apparatus and methods of treating bone fracture using the same

A fluid sensing device is provided, including a main body and a light sensing unit. The main body includes a casing and a rotary member. A containing chamber is formed in the casing. The rotary member is rotatably disposed in the casing, and the rotary member has at least one transparent portion. A fluid flows into the containing chamber to drive the rotary member rotating around a central axis. The light sensing unit includes a first light transceiver module and a second light transceiver module disposed near the main body in an asymmetrical manner with respect to the central axis to transmit and receive the light passing through the translucent portion.

A control valve includes a tube housing, a tube within the tube housing, and a clamp within the tube housing. The tube is disposed between a first portion of the tube housing and the clamp, and the clamp is movable between an open position and a closed position. A fixing device applicable to an ear including a cartilage and a skin covering the cartilage is provided. A gap is formed between the skin and the cartilage. The fixing device includes a puncturing unit and a clamping unit. The puncturing unit includes a puncturing needle penetrating the skin, the gap and the cartilage. The clamping unit includes a clamping opening engaged with the puncturing needle to have the puncturing unit and the clamping unit pressing the skin. Wherein, the skin is attached to the cartilage through the pressing of the puncturing unit and the clamping unit so as to remove the gap. In addition, the puncturing needle has a trench to drain the blood away.

An animal feces suction apparatus includes a tubular body having a stretching portion and a connection portion, a feces suction channel formed in the tubular body, a plurality of liquid channels disposed in a tube wall of the tubular body and formed with a plurality of liquid outlets in the stretching portion, an aspirator connected to the connection portion and communicated with the feces suction channel so as to generate a suction force within the feces suction channel, and a liquid supplying device connected to the connection portion and communicated with the liquid channels so as to provide a liquid to a large intestine of an animal via the liquid outlets. The stretching portion is stretched into the large intestine of the animal and transmits the liquid so as to soften the feces, and the feces is then sucked out from the large intestine through the feces suction channel by the suction force.
