The present invention is to present a status notification method for the sample analyzer. The method includes a detection step for detecting the status of the sample analyzer for analyzing the sample, and an irradiating step for irradiating light upward in accordance with the detection step.

Method for notifying sample analyzer status and sample analysis system

First and second racks each has fixed positions to hold sample tubes. First and second drawers slide into and out of the case, and that support the first and second racks, respectively. A tube set unit is provided in an area close to the first rack in the case. A tube transfer unit removes sample tubes from the first and second racks in the case and a controller that controls a transfer operation of the tube transfer unit. The first rack is supported by the first drawer such that the first rack leaves a transit location in the case behind the first drawer in the direction of the first drawer movement into the case. The controller controls the tube transfer unit to remove at least one sample tube from the second rack and transfers the tube to the tube set unit via a path traversing the transit location.

Sample processing apparatus and rack

Disclosed is a sample processing apparatus that comprises a rack with positions to hold sample tubes, the rack including a rack identification suited to a kind of sample tube, a rack set unit that accepts the rack in a detachable manner, a tube transfer unit with mechanical movement to grab and take out each sample tube from a rack held in the rack set unit, a rack detector comprising a sensor to detect the rack identification of the rack held in the rack set unit, and a controller that controls movement of the tube transfer unit based on a detection result of the rack detector.

A sample analyzing system comprising: a first sample analyzer including a first measurement unit for measuring a sample and a first control unit for controlling the first measurement unit; and a second sample analyzer including a second measurement unit for measuring the sample and a second control unit for controlling the second measurement unit; wherein the first control unit is configured to transmit an activation signal for activating the second sample analyzer when a predetermined condition is met for the first sample analyzer; and the second control unit is configured to activate the second sample analyzer when the activation signal is received.
