An air conditioning device includes a casing that provides multiple air passages, a blower fan that suctions an air from the multiple air passages and blows out the air in the casing, a suction side partitioning member that is disposed on a suction side of the blower fan in the casing and separates air flows from the multiple air passages from each other, and a blowing side partitioning member that is disposed on a blowing side of the blower fan in the casing and separates the air flows from the multiple air passages from each other. The suction side partitioning member and the blowing side partitioning member are disposed so that a relative position of the blowing side partitioning member to the suction side partitioning member is deviated in a rotation direction of the blower fan.

Air conditioning device

An air conditioning case includes a first partition wall that receives a condensed water generated by an evaporator, and the first partition wall is disposed above an overlapped portion of a heater core and between the evaporator and the heater core. Therefore, the first partition wall can prevent the condensed water dropped from the evaporator from being applied directly to the heater core. As a result, in a structure in which at least a portion of the heater core overlaps with the evaporator from below, the condensed water of the evaporator is less likely to be applied to the heater core.

Vehicle air-conditioning unit

A heater core is disposed to be inclined with respect to an airflow direction so that a first header tank unit is displaced downstream of a second header tank unit in the airflow direction. Therefore, when a first air mixing door blocks a first heating portion, an air stagnates between a downstream lateral portion of the first heating portion and a second partition wall downstream of the first heating portion, and the air is unlikely to be heated downstream of the first heating portion. Likewise, the air is unlikely to be heated upstream of a second heating portion in a second airflow passage. Therefore, a maximum cooling performance of a vehicle air conditioning unit can be restrained from being deteriorated due to a heat from a heater core.

A centrifugal blower provided with a spiral shaped scroll chamber where a bottom part of the scroll chamber gradually expands downward in the axial direction of the fan well along with expansion of the spiral and where a flow area gradually expands toward an air outlet from a spiral start part of the casing, the centrifugal blower having an initial slant angle &#x3b8;at the spiral start part of the bottom part of the scroll chamber of a range of angle of 5.2&#xb0; to 27.5&#xb0; or setting a backflow prevention rib at the fan outlet.
