A lens apparatus is capable of adjusting only the inclination of an optical axis in a desired direction. A focus lens frame is movably supported by a first guide shaft and a second guide shaft. The first guide shaft is provided in a lens barrel with both end parts of the first guide shaft being fixed. A front end part of the second guide shaft is swingably supported, a rear end part thereof is fitted into a horizontal elongate hole, and the second guide shaft is movably supported only in a horizontal direction. The second guide shaft is inserted through a first elongate hole formed in a swinging frame, and when the swinging frame is swung, the second guide shaft is horizontally swung. Then, when the second guide shaft is horizontally swung, the focus lens frame is horizontally swung, whereby the horizontal inclination of the optical axis is adjusted.

Lens apparatus

The present invention provides a visible and infrared light image-taking optical system which can facilitate changing a wavelength of infrared light used to take an infrared video image with an infrared light camera and which can achieve an infrared video image not affected by infrared light of any wavelength other than a desired wavelength, by separating object light incident on an image-taking optical system into object light in a visible light region and object light in an infrared light region and taking an object image formed by each object light for each object light in each wavelength region decomposed by the color separation optical system.

The present invention provides an optical option attachment ring comprising: a ring body into which a lens barrel is inserted; a clamping ring rotatably fastened on the periphery of the ring body; an elastic member arranged between the ring body and the clamping ring; and an abutting portion which is provided on the clamping ring and abuts on the elastic member according to the rotational position of the clamping ring to elastically deform the elastic member to cause at least a part of the elastic member to project further inwards than the inner peripheral surface of the ring body and to be positioned in a groove formed in the lens barrel.

A screen of a display of a photographing system shows a distance scale indicating a present focus position and an indicator. The screen also shows a focus position already obtained by auto focusing, using a mark.

Lens control system and focus information display apparatus

The lens apparatus permits rapid focusing by the operator demanding an autofocus start-up direction to carry out AF in the direction in an AF mode. When a start of the AF mode is instructed, an AF standby state of waiting for the operator to demand the AF start-up direction by operating a focus operation member, thereby permitting the operator to properly demand the AF start-up direction, and permitting the demand to be appropriately detected. When automatically switching from the state where the operator operates the focus operation member to the AF, condition of the switching is that a focus evaluation value exceeds a predetermined threshold based on the operation of the focus operation member, or that an operation amount of the focus operation member is changed more then a predetermined amount, thereby permitting further rapid focusing and improvement of operability. Gradually switching a clutch, which switches the focus lens driving from manual to electrical operation, from a manual to electrical state in switching to the AF can eliminates uncomfortable operation feeling of the focus operation member. Further, for the processing after completion of focusing by the AF, a mode of returning to the AF standby state of waiting for the operator to demand the AF start-up direction, mode of returning to a manual mode, or mode of continuing the AF can be selected, which permits improvement of convenience of the AF mode.

An interlock ring is provided to transmit a rotational force of a casing of a lens unit to a attachment ring, and contact faces of a projection of the attachment ring and a projection of the interlock ring are slant. Thereby, the stress is prevented from concentrating at the base corners of the projections. Thus, the projections can be prevented from breaking due to over-fastening.
