A method for producing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having on a support thereof at least one layer formed of an emulsion containing light-sensitive silver halide particles sensitized by a sensitizing dye comprising the steps of adding a first sensitizing dye to an emulsion containing silver halide particles, during the chemical ripening of the silver halide particles, to sensitize the silver halide particles; adding a second sensitizing dye to the emulsion containing the sensitized silver halide particles, after the chemical ripening of the silver halide particles, to form a coating liquid; and coating a support with the coating liquid to produce a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material.

Method for production of a silver halide photographic light-sensitive

A silver halide color photographic material which comprises a support, a silver halide emulsion layer provided thereon and a layer provided contiguous to said silver halide emulsion layer, said silver halide emulsion layer containing silver halide crystals of which average crystal size is not greater than 0.9 microns and at least 95% by number of total crystals have crystal sizes falling within .+-.40% said average crystal size, and said silver halide emulsion layer and/or said layer contiguous thereto containing a compound represented by the following general formula [I] ##STR1## where R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently represent an alkyl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms.

Silver halide color photographic material

A color photographic material comprising a support and at least one layer thereon containing at least one compound of formula [I]: Formula [I] ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 each are defined in the specification and claims of this application. The compound of formula [I] is incorporated in a color photographic material to prevent the discoloration and fading-in-color of the color photographic material.

Color photographic material

A color photographic material comprising a support and at least one layer thereon containing at least one compound of formula [I]: Formula [I] ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 each are defined in the specification and claims of this application. The compound of formula [I] is incorporated in a color photographic material to prevent the discoloration and fading-in-color of the color photographic material.

The present invention is directed to a color photographic material which is characterized as containing a compound represented by the following formula I in combination with a compound represented by the following formula II ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic ring; R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 individually represent hydrogen, halogen, an alkyl group, an alkylthio group, an alkoxy group, an aryl group, an aryloxy group, an arylthio group, an acyl group, an acylamino group, a diacylamino group, an acyloxy group, a sulfonamido group, an alkylamino group, a cycloalkyl group or an alkoxycarbonyl group; and Z represents an atomic group or groups necessary for forming a chroman or coumaran ring; provided that R and R.sub.1 can cooperatively be cyclized to form a chroman or cumaran ring. ##STR2## wherein A.sub.1, A.sub.2, A.sub.3 and A.sub.4 are individually alkyl having 1-18 carbon atoms, the total number of carbon atoms of A.sub.1, A.sub.2, A.sub.3 and A.sub.4 being not more than 32; and X is a simple bond, oxygen, sulfur, sulfonyl or ##STR3## in which A.sub.5 is hydrogen or alkyl having 1-10 carbon atoms and n is an integer of 1-3.

Color photographic materials containing dye-fading inhibitors

A color photosensitive material is disclosed which contains a support and a silver halide photosensitive layer wherein the photosensitive material also contains a combination of a member selected from one group of compounds with a member selected from another group of compounds.
