A connector device includes a connector housing including a plurality of terminal accommodating chambers, a plurality of terminals accommodated in the plurality of terminal accommodating chambers, and a plurality of electric wires configured to be welded to the respective one of the plurality of terminals. A laser radiation through hole is formed in side walls, each forming the terminal accommodating chambers, the laser radiation through hole being configured to allow the plurality of terminals and the plurality of electric wires to be welded with each other inside the terminal accommodating chambers, and the laser radiation through hole is configured to allow laser light emitted from a laser welding machine disposed outside the connector housing to enter one of the plurality of terminal accommodating chambers.

Connector device

A connector device includes a connector housing having a terminal accommodating chamber, a terminal configured to be accommodated in the terminal accommodating chamber, an electric wire configured to be connected to the terminal, a corrosion-proof material to be disposed at a position facing the terminal accommodated in the terminal accommodating chamber and a corrosion-proof target portion of the electric wire, and a corrosion-proof material support portion retaining the corrosion-proof material above the connector housing such that the corrosion-proof material can be moved toward the corrosion-proof target portion. A melting point of the corrosion-proof material is set to be lower than a melting point of a material forming the connector housing, and the corrosion-proof material is configured to be melted and then cured while covering the corrosion-proof target portion.

Connector device and wire harness manufacturing method

A joint connector includes a circuit board that is located behind a back wall of the connector housing through a component space, an independent male terminal jointed to the circuit board, and a joint terminal. The joint terminal includes a bridge portion fixed to the connector housing, a plurality of male terminal portions conducted to each other and protruding into a fitting space of the connector housing to serve as connector terminals, and one contact conduction piece extending to a back of the back wall of the connector housing and elastically brought into conductive contact with one of the independent male terminals via a spring portion.

Joint connector

A branch connector includes: a first housing having a wiring route portion in which two first cables constituting a twisted pair cable are wired in a twisted shape to be spaced apart from each other; and a second housing to which a pair of pressure contact terminals connected respectively with two second cables constituting a twisted pair cable is fixed. The pair of pressure contact terminals is connected respectively with the two first cables by pressure contact in a state where the second housing is assembled with the first housing.

Branch connector and communication network

An electrical equipment module includes a main line module that includes a main line routing body that is mounted on a vehicle and is routed along a width direction extending member in a vehicle width direction of the vehicle, a branch portion that is interposed in the main line routing body, and a branch portion retaining member that extends along the width direction extending member and retains the branch portion; and a sub module that is connected to the main line module through the branch portion and is subjected to power supply distribution through the main line routing body.

Electrical equipment module

A shield connector for a shielded cable including a shielding conductor provided on an outer periphery of a core wire through an insulator, and a sheath covering an outer periphery of the shielding conductor, the shield connector includes an inner metal terminal which connects to the core wire of the shielded cable, a tubular resin sleeve which receives the inner metal terminal therein and has an opening portion, a tubular outer metal terminal which receives the resin sleeve therein, has an opening portion, and is adapted to be connected to the shielding conductor. A press-contacting blade is provided on the inner metal terminal, and is adapted to be brought into press-contacting connection with the core wire from an upper side through the opening of the outer metal terminal and the opening of the resin sleeve. A support wall is formed integrally with the resin sleeve, and is disposed adjacent to the press-contacting blade of the inner metal terminal in a state that the inner metal terminal is received in the resin sleeve. The support wall has a guide portion for guiding the core wire into a central slot of the press-contacting blade by contacting the core wire before the press-contacting blade contacts the core wire when the core wire is to be press-fitted into the central slot from the upper side.

Shield connector

A connector includes an electrically conductive plug provided with a retaining hole, and an insulating housing that has a retaining member shaped in a cantilever beam. The retaining member has a retaining claw portion. The retaining claw portion has a projecting portion formed at a proximal end side of the retaining member. The projecting portion is crashed by an edge portion of the retaining hole when the retaining claw portion is engaged with the retaining hole.

Connector having an improved locking structure

A connector includes an insulative holding member having a generally-cylindrical tubular shape, and a conductive shielding member which includes a cover portion for covering an outer peripheral face of the holding member and a clamping portion. The holding member has a receiving portion. The cover portion has an engaging portion which engages with the receiving portion. The holding member has a guide groove for guiding the engaging portion to the receiving portion, the guide groove extending from an end portion of the holding member along a first direction in which the holding member extends. The guide groove has a first end and a second end, the first end disposed on the end portion of the holding member, and the second end disposed so as to opposed to the first end. A width of the guide groove gradually increases toward the first end to the second end.
