A damper disc having an output-side plate between a pair of side plates, containing two torsion springs in series in rectangular holes made on the both plates, and disposing a float body freely movable in circumferential direction between the springs. The output-side plate is divided into inside and outside pieces. Each float body is connected by an annular connecting body in such a manner as not to be protrudable. The float body is made of plastic-based resin light in weight and small in friction coefficient.

Spring dampened damper disc having first and second stage torsion springs

A release bearing assembly free from breakage and deformation, in which a force exerted from a release fork is not applied directly onto a sleeve. To this end, a cylindrical sleeve (7) guided by a guide (2) is not secured directly to a side plate (9) between an inner race (10) and the guide (2), as with a conventional structure. A cover (8) which has not hitherto been used, is used in the present invention. The cover (8) is secured to the side plate (9), and the cover (8) sandwiches the sleeve (7) in cooperation with a release bearing (6).

A damping mechanism for clutch disc for use in an automobile clutch, including an axially compressible cushioning plate supporting a facing in between a flywheel and a pressure plate. In order for minimizing 'resonance sound' of the cushioning plate due to axial vibration, a damping member for controlling the axial vibration of the cushioning plate is installed between the cushioning plate and the clutch plate.

A damper disc, in which first friction washers generating a large hysteresis torque are provided on both sides of a flange of a spline hub an approximately annular disc-like intermediate member is provided so as to be pressed on an outside of a friction washer, a projection projecting toward a side plate is formed the intermediate member, the projection being made fit in the side plate in such a manner that they can slide freely each other within a specified torsion angle, and a second friction washer generating a small hysteresis torque is provided between said intermediate member and the side plate.

Damper disc

A damper disc, in which first friction washers for generating a large hysteresis torque are provided on opposite sides of a flange of a spline hub and a substantially annular disc-like intermediate member is provided so as to be pressed on an outside of a friction washer. A projection projecting toward a side plate is formed on the intermediate member. The projection is fitted into the side plate in such a manner that the intermediate member and side plate can slide freely with respect to each other within a specified torsion angle. A second friction washer generating a small hysteresis torque is provided between the intermediate member and the side plate.

A damper is attached to a diaphragm spring in a clutch. The diaphragm spring includes a portion supported by a fulcrum which is rigidly connected to a flywheel, a portion connected to a pressure plate for pressing a clutch disc onto a flywheel, a portion adapted to connect to a release bearing, a plurality of radial slits extending from the inner periphery of the spring to the radially middle portion thereof and a plurality of radial fingers circumferentially divided by the slits. The damper includes a vibration damper member made from nonmetallic material and attached to said fingers. The damper member may have an annular shape extending along the diaphragm spring and be seated on surfaces of the fingers.
