Disclosed is a multi-channel image processing method including the steps of: storing a multi-channel image in one or several 2D texture units each formed of a pack of four tiles in a server; taking a selection of one or several channels of the multi-channel image into account; taking transformation and projection parameters (real-time user input) for the selected channels into account; applying the transformation on the selected channels, according to received parameters, all pixels of the selected channels being processed at the same time; projecting the selected channels into an RGB color space, according to the received parameters, all pixels of the selected channels being processed at the same time.

Multimodal viewer

The present invention is directed to systems and processes for simulating exercise in an interactive virtual environment comprised of a minicomputer configured with course data from a course server to render a virtual environment on a coupled video display. The minicomputer is in communication with an exercise device via a translation interface such that interaction with the exercise device alters the rendered virtual environment. Additionally, the user may interact with the virtual environment via minicomputer input. An optional advertising server enables insertion of promotional material into the interactive virtual environment.

Systems and methods for exercise in an interactive virtual environment

A method of detecting a curvilinear object of a noisy image. The method includes filtering the noisy image in accordance with a two dimensional line profile. The line profile is selected within a class of steerable filters. A beamlet coefficient is calculated in accordance with the filtering, wherein a coefficient above a predetermined threshold identifies a local feature.
