The guide for sliding glazing intended to be added and fastened onto a glazing and to cooperate with a sliding joint. The guide comprising a body of elongated shape and a longitudinal base extending along the axis of elongation of the body. A first face of the guide applied and fastened onto a glazing surface and a second face opposite the first face, the second face cooperating by sliding with said joint. The longitudinal base including a thinned portion at at least one free longitudinal end. A thickness of the thinned portion, in a direction substantially perpendicular to said first face, decreasing at least in the longitudinal direction in such a way that said second face is flush with said glazing surface on said at least one free end.

The present invention relates to an exterior trim for a frame of a glazed side or rear door of a motor vehicle and to a sealing module incorporating it. The invention notably applies to sealing modules for exterior glass run channel profile strips for doors with hidden frames used in motor vehicles. This exterior trim () can be attached directly to a rebate() of the frame and is intended to hold on this frame at least one sealing profile strip of the run channel type () and a double lip seal () for sealing against the bodyshell, the trim comprising a portion () for clamping onto the rebate which has a substantially U-shaped cross section with two longitudinal axial legs (and). Exterior trim for motor vehicle door frame, and sealing module incorporating same

The invention provides a bendable thermoplastic reinforcement for a profiled seal or profiled molding of a vehicle, such a profiled element including same and a method for producing the reinforcement. The reinforcement of substantially U-shaped cross section, has a central portion and two arms, each arm having over its length a series of limbs separated from one another by slots. Over at least one part of the length of the reinforcement, each limb has laterally an asymmetrical geometry and an area greater than that of each adjacent slot. The reinforcement is produced by extrusion of a thermoplastic material via a die of U-shaped profile formed between an extruder head and a receiving member for the material being discharged from the head which is provided with a hollow cavity designed to form directly said central portion, the slots and limbs, so that the extruded material progressively covers the receiving member.

A sealing gasket-support combination includes a sealing gasket for mounting on a support on a motor vehicle door. The support includes at least one corner having a small radius of curvature. The gasket includes at least a flexible or semi-rigid fixing portion fixed to the support by an adhesive. The gasket also includes an elastically-deformable tubular portion for providing sealing. The elastically-deformable portion includes a non-deformed cross-section in a free state and a deformed cross-section in a deformed state that is due to the corner of the support, wherein once the gasket has been mounted on the support, the deformed cross-section occupies an area that is substantially within the area occupied by the non-deformed cross section.

A sealing gasket for mounting around a motor vehicle door presenting at least one corner of small radius of curvature, the gasket being mounted directly on its support without being subjected to any specific localized treatment operation in a support corner of small radius of curvature, and comprising at least a flexible or semi-rigid fixing portion fixed by adhesive to its support and an elastically-deformable tubular portion for providing sealing, wherein the elastically-deformable portion of the gasket is given a shape extending from its fixing portion that is generally triangular, being defined by two lateral pillars which between them form an angle of about 10&#xb0; to 80&#xb0;, and which are united by an arch, said angle being defined using two straight lines passing substantially through the middles of the two lateral pillars at &#x2156;ths and at &#x2158;ths of the total height of the gasket measured from its fixing portion.
