In some examples, a computing device can include a memory resource storing instructions to cause a processor resource to receive, from a first virtual machine assigned a first color gamut, display characteristics of a first display, display characteristics of a second display, or both. In some examples, the instructions can cause the processor resource to receive, from a second virtual machine assigned a second color gamut, the display characteristics of the first display, the display characteristics of the second display, or both, and determine, based on the first color gamut, the second color gamut, and the display characteristics, a color gamut mapping for the first color gamut and the second color gamut. In some examples, the instructions can cause the processor resource to map the first color gamut to the first display and map the second color gamut to the second display based on the color gamut mapping.

In an example system comprising a location engine and a protocol engine, the location engine determines a direction of movement between a first device and a second device and the protocol engine establishes a communication connection when a distance between the first device and the second deice is less than a distance designated for automatic connection.

An example display system includes a load engine and a calibration engine. The load engine causes an inquiry for current calibration measurement data and retrieves factory calibration measurement data when the current calibration measurement data is unavailable. The calibration engine receives a target set of display characteristics, generates a color profile from a native panel performance representation to operate a display according to the target set of display characteristics, and causes adjustment of a display according to a difference between the target set of display characteristics and the native panel performance representation using the generated color profile.

Out-of-band switching of states of a computing device by a coupled peripheral device, are described. A sensor within the peripheral device may monitor an area in proximity to the peripheral device. A controller within the peripheral device may determine whether a user is present within the area. On determining the user to be present, a control signal may be generated. The control signal is conforms with the messaging protocol and causes the computing device to switch between an operational state and a low-power state. The controller may cause out-of-band transmission of the control signal to the computing device through the transmission interface.

An example receiver device to be wirelessly charged in motion includes a power receiver to receive a power beam to charge a power supply and a modulating reflector. The modulating reflector is to reflect a portion of the power beam as a reflected signal, modulate the reflected signal, and vary a direction of the reflected signal to scan an area for an example power beam transmitter device. The power beam transmitter device is to track motion of the receiver device based on modulation of the reflected signal and to cooperate with other power beam transmitter devices to prioritize distribution of power among a plurality of receiver devices. An example system for wireless charging of devices in motion includes a plurality of power beam transmitter devices to coordinate transmission of power beams to a receiver device based on the motion of the receiver device.

In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a system includes a display, a processor and a wireless sensor. The processor receives remote wireless signals from the wireless sensor corresponding to another display. The processor determines a physical locational relationship and orientation in three-dimensional space based on the received signal. The processor logical represents the relationship and orientation in a configuration screen and sets attributes of the display based on the representation.

Examples associated with Bluetooth device pairing are described. One example includes storing a set of device pairings. Device pairings may indicate Bluetooth devices that are authorized to connect. An authorization signal is received from a first Bluetooth device. The authorization signal may seek approval to connect with a second Bluetooth device over a Bluetooth connection. A control signal is provided to the first Bluetooth device when a device pairing indicates the first Bluetooth device is authorized to connect to the second Bluetooth device.

In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, an input device of a plurality of input switches, a plurality of biometric sensors integrated into each of the plurality of input switches and a processor. The processor configured to receive an indication from a first input switch. The processor receives a biometric data collected by one of the biometric sensors. The processor determines whether the received indication corresponds with a first state in a predetermined sequence. The processor determines whether the biometric data corresponds with as second state in a predetermined biometric data sequence. The processor authenticates the user based on the first and second states.

An example display device includes a housing, a protractible hook fittable within the housing, a charging device coupled to the protractible hook, and an actuation member that moves the protractible hook from the retracted position to a protracted position where the protractible hook is positioned external to the housing.

In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a method may receive a set of customizable characteristics corresponding to an onscreen display reference point. The onscreen display reference point may be composed based on the set of customizable characteristics. The onscreen display reference point may be stored in nonvolatile memory. The onscreen display reference point may be rendered on a display, wherein the rendering is independent of a video stream.

An example target device is described for facilitating application docking. In various aspects, the target device can comprise a processor. In various instances, the target device can comprise a non-transitory machine-readable memory that can store machine-readable instructions. In various cases, the processor can execute the machine-readable instructions, which can cause the processor to launch, based on a dock request that is to indicate a session of a first instance of an application of an initiator device, a second instance of the application on the target device. In various aspects, the second instance can resume the session. In various instances, the launch can be based on a determination that a dock credential of a Quick Response (QR) code generated by the target device is in the dock request.

According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor that may access an assignment of a capability to a hardware port such as a Universal Serial Bus ('USB') port. The apparatus may virtualize a USB port, assign capabilities to the virtual USB port, and provide electrical communication via the USB port subject to the assigned capabilities. The electrical communication may include power delivered via the USB port, or data communicated via the USB port.

An example peripheral device includes circuitry to identify a target device that matches the device type identifier of the peripheral device. The example circuitry of the peripheral device is to cause selection of an input component device, transmission of a request to place the input component of the target device into an instruction set receiver mode, and operation of an output component of the peripheral device to produce audio output or video output that represents the instruction set in response to a determination that an instruction set version identifier of the target device mismatches the instruction set version identifier of the peripheral device.

In an example, an example hook includes a rest surface to sustain a peripheral, a retainment device switchable between a lock position and an unlock position, a lock coupleable to the retainment device to maintain the retainment device in the lock position, and a controller to actuate the lock in response to a user event. In another example, an example display device includes a housing, a hook coupled to the side wall of the housing, a retainment device coupleable to the hook, a lock to maintain the retainment device in a lock position or in an unlocked position; and a controller to activate the lock in response to a signal corresponding to an instruction to lock the retainment device and deactivate the lock in response to a signal corresponding to an instruction to unlock the retainment device based on a user event.
