A system is provided and generally includes a server (e.g., application server), an associate computing device, and a client computing device. The server can receive a user arrival notification that indicates a user has arrived to pick up purchased goods. The server can transmit a scan initiation request to a remote terminal that causes the remote terminal to scan at least one network. The server can receive scan data for the scanned network from the remote terminal indicating, for example, a signal strength of that network. The server can determine a current wait time based on the received scan data for the scanned network, and can transmit the current wait time to the remote terminal.

Method and apparatus for predicting wait times

A computer-implemented method for one-click registration drivers in a load transport network via a mobile device messaging application includes the step of obtaining a driver information in a digital format. The method includes the step of passing via a computer network, the driver information to a driver registration/tracking application programming interface (API). The method includes the step of storing the driver information in a database; generating a hyperlink and send hyperlink to driver's smart phone as a text message, hyperlink includes a parameter mapped to the driver. The method includes the step of receiving a message that the driver has clicked on the hyperlink. Methods and systems of one-click registration of drivers in a load transport network

A load and route assignment system is provided and generally includes a computing device and a database. The database may store historical inbound load data and historical outbound load data related to previous inbound and outbound loads. The computing device can obtain and aggregate the historical inbound and outbound load data from the database, and determine an optimal path based on the aggregated historical data. The optimal path, along with load attribute data, may be stored in the database as a tour template for future load executions. The computing device may use the tour templates to determine future load assignments to vehicles. The computing device may also obtain real-time load requests, and match them to one or more of a plurality of tour templates. The computing device may assign the matched real-time load requests to a vehicle for execution in accordance with the corresponding load and tour template.

Methods and apparatus for load and route assignments in a delivery system

A system for automatically checking-in a customer includes a database and a server computer including a processor coupled to a memory device. The processor is programmed to install a customer application on a customer mobile computing device, install an associate application on an associate mobile computing device, receive a signal from the customer device indicating that the customer device has automatically recognized a wireless hotspot about the store and including a unique customer identification associated with the customer device, retrieve a data record from the database including a customer profile associated with the unique customer identification, determine if the retrieved data record includes a customer order, and if the retrieved data record includes a customer order, then automatically check-in the customer and transmit a signal to the associate device including an indication that the customer is checked-in and available to pick-up the customer order.
