A fluid container having at least one internal chamber for receiving a fluid, and having at least one connector for hydraulically connecting the internal chamber to a downstream hydraulic apparatus, wherein the connector at the end thereof toward the internal chamber has a mouth portion. In order to propose an improved fluid container by way of which high volumetric flows can also pass through the connector at high throughflow rates with low losses and reduced resistance, it is proposed that an escape value of the connector is provided so as to be larger than 0.82, and the mouth portion in relation to a container wall region that directly surrounds the mouth portion is at least in portions designed so as to be raised in the direction of the internal chamber.

A pressure medium container for a hydraulic motor vehicle brake system. A pressure medium container is provided including a container casing the interior of which can be filled with a pressure medium via a filler pipe and is closed off by a closure cap fixed to the filler pipe. A sealing element made from an elastomeric material is provided between the filler pipe and a bottom of the closure cap. The sealing element has a valve which rests on a support pedestal arranged on the closure cap is closed in a non-actuated initial state and reaches an opened actuated state under the control of differential pressure, whereby a pressure is equalized between an interior of the pressure medium container and an ambient atmosphere. Direction-dependently, the valve has different valve opening resistances.

A motor vehicle hydraulic brake system fluid reservoir for use with an electronic control unit. The hydraulic brake system fluid reservoir has a housing including a reservoir interior space having at least one fluid chamber, and a device for monitoring a reservoir filling level including a switch unit, which with a contact carrier projects into a guide sleeve, which extends into a separate chamber of the reservoir interior space. A sensor element or switch element is arranged on the contact carrier and is operable by a pickup carried on the guide sleeve at a switching point, at which the switch unit generates a signal for the electronic control unit. The separate chamber is connected to the fluid chamber by way of a fluid connection. Valve means are also provided, which serves to control the fluid flow between the separate chamber and the fluid chamber.

An equalizing tank for a hydraulic motor vehicle brake system, with a housing including a housing upper part and a housing lower part, and with a device for monitoring the fluid level in the equalizing tank, the device including a switching unit which is fastened to the housing and has a plug-in connector and a contact carrier, a portion of which projects into a guide pipe which extends into an interior space of the tank, and a sensor element or switching element which is arranged on the contact carrier in the region of the guide pipe and which can be switched by a transmitter in a switching point at which the switching unit generates a signal for an electronic control unit.
