A method for controlling a clearing process in a vacuum cleaning device, wherein the vacuum cleaning device comprises at least one filter, which is cleared regularly. The method proposed allows, in particular, differential-pressure-dependent filter clearing in accordance with requirements, during which filter aging and/or filter wear can also be taken into account. In a second aspect, the invention relates to a vacuum cleaning device by means of which the proposed control method can be carried out. For this purpose, the vacuum cleaning device can comprise, in particular, a filter clearing unit.

Method for controlling a clearing process in a vacuum cleaning device, and vacuum cleaning device

A method for operating a vacuum cleaning appliance, having a filter element, a filter element cleaning device, a control device, a turbine, a first pressure sensor and a second pressure sensor. The method includes operating the vacuum cleaning appliance to suck in the air stream through the filter element; determining a first pressure reference value; measuring the pressure difference between the first and second pressure values; dedusting the filter element with the aid of the filter element cleaning device if the value of the pressure difference between the first and second pressure values reaches a first threshold value; determining a second pressure reference value after the end of the dedusting of the filter element; determining a difference value between the second and first pressure reference values; and dedusting the filter element if the difference value between the second and first pressure reference values reaches a second threshold value, or switching off the vacuum cleaning appliance if the difference value between the second and first pressure reference values reaches a third threshold value. Efficient filter cleaning

An arrangement of components in a portable wet vacuum cleaner, wherein the wet vacuum cleaner includes a container for collecting a liquid-dirt mixture. The component arrangement is characterized, in particular, by a sloping sealing plane as the upper termination of a collecting container of the wet vacuum cleaner, wherein the sloping sealing plane includes a filter unit. In a second aspect, the invention furthermore relates to a wet vacuum cleaner having a component arrangement of this kind.
