A method for operating a numerical controlled machine comprising receiving a sequence of control commands which, when executed by a numerical controlled machine, cause the numerical controlled machine to machine a workpiece to obtain a predetermined workpiece geometry, wherein the sequence of control commands includes while machining the workpiece based on the received sequence of control commands measuring a value of a first interaction parameter for a first position of the tool, comparing a measured value of the first interaction parameter for the first position of the tool with the simulated value of the first interaction parameter for the first position of the tool, and determining an adapted value of the second interaction parameter for a following position of the tool based on a result of the comparison.

Online multi-force-adaption during machining

In order to be able to take into account machining configurations more flexibly, a method for optimizing numerically controlled machining of a workpiece includes ascertaining geometric interaction data. A relationship between a force to be expected and a configuration parameter of the machining is determined on the basis of the interaction data. The force is calculated during the machining on the basis of the relationship and a current value of the at least one configuration parameter. The machining is adapted depending on the calculated force.

Computer-aided optimization of numerically controlled machining of a workpiece

A first drive operates directly on a machine element, whereas a second drive operates on a machine element via a speed-changing device. A position controller receives a position setpoint value and a position actual value of the machine element and determines therefrom a speed setpoint value for the machine element. A first determining device receives the speed setpoint value and determines a resulting speed setpoint value using the speed setpoint value. A first speed controller determines a first force setpoint value from the resulting speed setpoint value and the speed actual value of the machine element and controls the first drive depending on the first force setpoint value. A second speed controller determines a second force setpoint value from the resulting speed setpoint value and the speed actual value of the second drive and controls the second drive depending on the force setpoint value.

Controller structure for mixed direct/indirect driving of a machine element

An apparatus for controlling and regulating a movement of a system includes a load calculating device calculating continuously during the movement of the system a respective force vector for each of the individual elements as a function of predetermined reference coordinates and a torque calculating device calculating continuously during the movement at least one compensating variable, wherein the compensating variable compensates the force vectors as a function of the reference coordinates and the force vectors. The apparatus for controlling and regulating has a control unit controlling continuously during the movement a force-producing variable for the at least one drive as a function of the reference and the at least one compensating variable.

Apparatus and method for controlling and regulating a multi-element system

A program for a numerical control device is disclosed that determines path points to be approached by an end effector. A control signal group is ascertained for each path point that contains its set point value for each position-controlled axis. Those values are output to the axes, moving the end effector. The degrees of freedom are fewer than the position-controlled axes. The control signal groups are ascertained so that the end effector approaches the path points at least approximately. The control signal groups are ascertained gradually during the activation of the axes. The set point values are ascertained by minimizing an objective function. The objective function that is minimized includes at least the set point values for a path point only to be approached in the future. The sequence between the currently approached point and the point approached in the future has at least one further path point.

Operating machine with redundant axes and resolution of the redundancy in real time

A method for operating a machine tool is disclosed wherein during operation of the machine tool at least one state of the machine tool is projected into a working area of the machine tool with a 3D projector at a predefined point in space in the working area. A projection device performing the method and a machine tool with such a projection device is also disclosed.
