An endoscopic instrument is disclosed that includes an elongate shaft and an instrument insert releasably connected to a distal end portion of the shaft, the distal end portion of the shaft being in the form of a sleeve and a proximal end region of a base of the instrument insert being in the form of a coupling shaft, or the distal end portion of the shaft being in the form of a coupling shaft and a proximal end region of a base of the instrument insert being in the form of a sleeve, with the coupling shaft being releasably held in the sleeve and the sleeve and/or the coupling shaft at least in portions having a cross-sectional profile which is reversibly changeable for detaching the coupling shaft from the sleeve. The invention also relates to a shaft for an endoscopic instrument, and to an instrument insert for an endoscopic instrument.

The invention relates to a medical instrument having an elongated shaft, a movable tool at a distal end of the shaft, a handle with a movable grip part at a proximal end of the shaft, and a force transmission element which can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the instrument and is operatively connected to the movable grip part and to the tool such that an actuation of the movable grip part is converted into a movement of the tool. The instrument has a spring assembly that is arranged on the handle and has at least one leg spring, which has at least one winding and two legs, and a pin, wherein the at least one winding extends about the pin. When the movable grip part is actuated, a force is applied to at least one of the legs of the leg spring, said force reducing the friction between the winding and the pin such that the leg spring can be rotated about the pin and the force transmission element and the tool can be moved. When a force is transmitted from the tool to the force transmission element in the longitudinal direction thereof, the leg spring cannot be rotated about the pin such that the force transmission element and the tool cannot be moved.

Medical instrument and method

A handling device for a medical instrument includes a main body with a coupling for releasable mechanical connection to a proximal end of an outer shaft, a first actuation device movable relative to the main body, a second actuation device movable relative to the main body, a first coupling device coupling the first actuation device to a first transfer device for transferring at least a force or a torque, and a second coupling device coupling the second actuation device to a second transfer device for transferring at least a force or a torque. The coupling devices each have a decoupling position, in which the associated actuation device is decoupled from the associated transfer device. The decoupling positions of both coupling devices can only be reached when the outer shaft is not connected to the coupling on the main body in the manner provided for use of the medical instrument.

A shaft for a rigid endoscopic instrument includes an elongate outer shaft and an elongate transmission element that can be arranged movably inside the outer shaft, wherein the outer shaft includes a proximal portion and a distal portion, which can be connected releasably to each other. The invention also relates to a rigid endoscopic instrument having such a shaft.

A medical instrument includes an outer shaft, a manipulation device at the proximal end of the outer shaft, a tool at the distal end of the outer shaft, with a first effecting device for a first function and a second effecting device for a second function, a first transmission device in the outer shaft for transmitting at least either a force or a torque for controlling the first effecting device, and a second transmission device in the outer shaft for transmitting at least either a force or a torque for controlling the second effecting device. The outer shaft is at least either curved or able to be curved or has a pivot joint. A medical instrument with a shaft on whose distal end a tool is positioned and on whose proximal end a handle is positioned consisting of at least two gripping members, such that the tool can be actuated by a gripping member of the handle that is moveably configured and such that at least one gripping member of the handle consists of a rigid partial area and a pivotable partial area that can pivot around the rigid partial area. To create a medical instrument that is of simple structure and can be quickly and thoroughly cleaned, it is proposed with the invention that the pivotable partial area of the gripping member can be removably affixed to the rigid partial area of the gripping member by a catch mechanism.
